CTS isn't as good as GYC, so guys want focus on their upcoming album. They will release new song from new album in September, so probably they will have to send it to the radio stations in August. CTS doesn't have a much time to peak.

TOP 50 after top 5 isn't a good achievement, I'm surprise that their label was believing that CTS may improve their album sale. Scooter Braun should help them to record something with Bieber or at least Carly.

They should have released "Lightning" instead.

One thing isn't as good as WMYB, and it has a success only in australia, so for me bigger surprise will be if it will be a top 10 hit. You shouldn't overestimate 1D, they aren't so big in America. Radio stations wouldn't play something just because it's 1D song.

I think it's problem is that WMYB is still so high up yes (and I don't think WMYB was helped by One Thing either, it could've had a higher AI peak than it did), but now that it's decreasing One Thing should be increasing more. The Wanted don't have as much of an excuse.

 

I'd be more surprised if "One Thing" wasn't a top 10 hit tbh as it's very similar to WMYB. I'd say it was a hit in more than just Australia, it went top 10 in Hungary & Ireland as well as the UK which is alright for a post-album single.
