January 7, 201213 yr Kesha top ten with that shitty song? Deary me. I think Rihanna's top 5 singles ever are 'Unfaithful', 'Umbrella', 'Disturbia', 'Russian Roulette' and 'Man Down'. 1. Take a bow 2. Unfaithful 3. Umbrella 4. Cheers 5. What's my name? Hard to seperate them though, all great pop songs.
January 7, 201213 yr Reverse that and I agree! One of the best pop songs of recent times vs. a Jackie Wilson b-side :o OH NO YOU DI'NT. For the forum's resident nice guy, you sure know how to rile a loon :P
January 7, 201213 yr So my favourite #1 of 2011 (apart from Coldplay) along with the year's best dance tune fall as soon as we hit the top 10? Brilliant.
January 7, 201213 yr Author 8 / Jessie J feat. B.o.B - Price Tag / 3740 POINTS 2011 Chart run; 1-1-2-2-2-2-4-5-7-10-12-13-16-24-32-30-32-24-31-35-36-37-40-40-40-53-45-49-49-54-61-63-73-72-70-65-81-83-92-86-69-77-84-68-90-79-61 [47wks] qMxX-QOV9tI Another one of the defining hits of the year, and a British song that managed to cross over to the US. Lots of 150s & 140s with one -10, I loved this from first listen but it did become a bit old eventually (although it is still very much Jessie's highlight). 7 / Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath / 3950 POINTS 2011 Chart run; 1-2-5-7-10-16-20-28-38-38-39-38-36-38-41-52-55-67-77-68-70-73-93 [23wks] z4nKOzk8qbw A pleasant enough catchy number from Nic that slotted in between 'Someone Like You's 4th & 5th weeks at #1, which came as a surprise to me. Harmful enough but it's no POISON. Sadly Nicole hasn't kept that much of an hold on the US audience (despite being an X Factor judge there) as this came in as a top 90 hit. 6th place is 450pts in front..

Don't Hold Your Breath won't kill anyone, I swear! It wouldn't hurt a laptop speaker! My favourite #1 of the year , would have liked to see it a bit higher, but oh well....
January 7, 201213 yr Author Shocked at Jessie and Nicole being lower than Olly :o Happy though! I'm more shocked that Example's first #1 is still to come, and that at least one of them must be top 5. :o
January 7, 201213 yr I would've been surprised Price Tag isn't higher but it only came 7th(?) in its record of the year heat so it's not really.
January 7, 201213 yr I'm more shocked that Example's first #1 is still to come, and that at least one of them must be top 5. :o Oh yeah, I'd forgotten :o Olly BETTER beat Example.
January 7, 201213 yr I hope Olly beats Example too, but both are good songs. I was personally expecting Nicole to be a bit higher, but I'm glad she's not. I preferred Right There (for those who didn't know already ).
January 7, 201213 yr I never followed music when Disturbia was out and I remember that as being huge, apart from Umbrella and Take a bow, I always saw that as her biggest song. If example goes top 5 then I will be seriously worried about some people. His song writing skills are nothing short of atrocious.
January 7, 201213 yr Author Don't look now guys :( 6 / Olly Murs feat. Rizzle Kicks - Heart Skips A Beat / 4400 POINTS 2011 Chart run; 1-3-6-4-8-8-11-14-28-30-36-49-53-27-22-36-43-25 [18wks] j5dFe-WKuPs Olly's 2nd #1, the first single from his second album 'In Case You Didn't Know' just misses out on a top 5 placing, by 270pts to be exact. A big single in the summer which managed to stick around for quite a bit, I think this is by far his best single, and Rizzle Kicks aren't too bad here either. Top 5 tomorrow, predictions? We have Jennifer Lopez, Adele, Example & both Rihanna tracks still to come.
January 7, 201213 yr Aww. Olly out. :( I'm glad he did at least this well though. For the top 5, I predict: 1. We Found Love 2. On the Floor 3. Someone Like You 4. What's My Name? 5. Changed the Way You Kiss Me
January 8, 201213 yr I think... 1. We Found Love 2. Someone Like You 3. On the Floor 4. Changed the Way You Kissed Me 5. What's My Name?
January 8, 201213 yr I'll take a stab at: 1) We Found Love 2) Someone Like You 3) Changed the Way You Kiss Me 4) On the Floor 5) What's My Name (I'm actually surprised this has made it this far. Good song but didn't realise it was so loved. I imagine a poor year for quality of no 1 has probs helped it out though.)
January 8, 201213 yr Aaargh Olly only number 6. Nevermind, should be a good top 5 apart from On the floor. At least he beat flippin Nicole.
January 8, 201213 yr Author 5 / Example - Changed The Way You Kiss Me / 4670 POINTS 2011 Chart run; 1-1-2-2-4-7-9-17-21-23-29-28-33-29-29-39-40-41-59-58-64-72-88 [23wks] CLXt3yh2g0s It wasn't even close as Example misses the top 4 by more than 1000pts leaving an all-female (lead artist) top 4. For me this is the biggest surprise of the results, with him actually making it this far, and some of the songs he's beaten (but to be fair, he did get rather a lot of 150s 140s & 130s). Personally I don't mind this song too much but it's my least favourite Example single.
January 8, 201213 yr OLLY  Glad Example was 5th, I'd like: 04 What's My Name? 03 We Found Love 02 On The Floor 01 Someone Like You
January 8, 201213 yr Changed the Way You Kiss Me won the reshuffle chart a lot, so I figured it had some fans here. And although the artist isn't very liked here, musically, it's quite Buzzjack-friendly I think. I think it's a good song.
