Why would she perform it at the BRITs? The Critics' Choice winner has never performed at the ceremony that they won the award - they normally just perform at the revealing of the nominations thing, and very rarely are they asked back the next year to perform. In fact, Florence + the Machine is the only act who performed on the night of their "handing over" of the Critics' Choice award - Jessie J isn't even scheduled this year!

I think Adele featured in a performance in her year, at least according to Wikipedia. But isn't it also the first year that the critics choice award winner has been up for another award? So I wouldn't be surprised if she did perform. When are we meant to know all performers by, already or..?
That was only as part of Mark Ronson's medley though. She left after just over a minute on stage - it was a bit like how Lady GaGa and Brandon Flowers joined the Pet Shop Boys for their performance in 2009 (although obviously Lady GaGa hadn't won the Critics' Choice award, but she was in a similar position to Adele career-wise).

The album is one of the most boring that I have ever heard. There's literally no point in bothered; it's so dull and lifeless, even 'Daddy' is great compared to some of the crap on there. Only one of the songs that I'd not heard prior to the album was worth listening to: 'Lifetime'.

Really? :(

I've pre-ordered it and it's already been despatched, hope I don't regret it. Not listening to it until it arrives though.

For me it's really amazing album, Lifetime, River, My Kind Of Love, Mountains, Maybe + singles are really great song, there's 2or3 piano songs which are in a moments boring, but overall really nice record! My Kind Of Love screams for single release!

I really love this album  It is dull in places but mostly it's quite strong. The singles aren't really represenative though, the album as a whole reminds me of Leona Lewis' Spirit. Which is odd seeing as we're all wishing an Emeli sound for Leona's Glassheart :P The weakest song for me is Lifetime, and the highlight from the non-singles is DEFINITELY My Kind Of Love  Adore it, HAS to be a single, I think it would be a hit for her. The only thing wrong is how samey it gets, I'd replace Where I Sleep, Clown and Lifetime with more songs like Heaven and Next To Me. But I imagine this will finish in my top 20 albums of the year, perhaps top 10 if it doesn't grow old that quickly.

Very strong album. As others have said, a tad dull here and there, but it is really enjoyable as a whole. Loving Read All About It (Part III).
I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but why is it 'Read All About (Part III)?

10 Read All About It (Part III)

Overall a strong album, I understand why some people would find it dull though as the singles suggest it will be completely different to what it is. It is actually very ballad heavy, and although they are mostly of very good quality, some of them are a little unmemorable due to being rather similar to the one before. I however am finding the album a very enjoyable listen: a wonderful voice and good quality songs.

Well I know there was another version of Read All About It with an Italian woman singing the chorus (in Italian), but it wasn't called 'Read All About It (Pt II)', it was called 'Tutto quello che devi sapere' :P So maybe they do just count that as Part II?

I am now loving Next To Me! I thought it was a bit weak to start with but it's grown on me . A lot catchier than Daddy too (and I also loved that...)
I think it's a disappointing album but that could be down to the single choices not being a good representative even though they are easily the best songs on there. Dull in most places and I'd rather listen to the original 'Read All About It'.
I've overlooked her a lot because of Heaven being quite 'generic' but i am really impressed with 'Next to me'. Might get the album, previewing it on amazon now, a lot of the tracks sound very samey but there is no doubting she is actually a very talented young woman...
Got the album today. Sold out in my local music store but I got the second last copy in Tesco. Must be selling a ton then. It's really nice anyway. Very solid if unspectacular. Mountains is probably the best album track.
It's a right grower, I'm really getting into it now. My favourites are 'My Kind Of Love', 'Breaking The Law', 'Where I Sleep' and the three singles. In very much agreeance that 'My Kind Of Love' HAS to be the next single!
I adore this album! The melodies all really jumped out at me for some reason and the production is gorgeous without being the OTT, I was won over as soon as I realised that luscious strings are present on almost every track  Highlights are Heaven, My Kind Of Love, Where I Sleep, Mountains and Next To Me but I don't feel the need to skip anything.
The only thing I remember from this is that it's quite bland. Apart from the singles nothing really stands out. But I'll give it another go at some point. I'm seeing her on Friday at a masterclass in the O2.
