Posted March 7, 200619 yr Love 'em or hate 'em, everyone has an opinion on them. I'll be seeing them on my birthday, at the V Festival. :cheer:
March 7, 200619 yr Well I say they had some good stuff in the past with The Bends and OK Computer but I would really like them to go more commericial again as I've been unsure of the last three albums.

OK Computer is an absolutely stunning album, and after many listens, so is Kid A. I love em, but wish they would stop being experimental for the sake of it!

They could REALLY pull off something special and of course if they did it would be MASSIVE, I always hope for that and I think EVENTUALLY it might happen ;) You hear me Thom? :P

Like Radiohead, though, they are beyond their glory days! Poor Coldplay and Goruillaz, they are at theirs, its downhill from here!
March 7, 200619 yr Author I think Radiohead have reached the point where they could release an album consisting entirely of Thom reciting the Oxford telephone directory and people would buy it by the barrowload. Me included. Possibly.

March 7, 200619 yr Author Aye, the last album was a bit of a weird one... took me ages to get into it, their stuff is usually pretty instant for me. Even the weird stuff.

Poor Coldplay and Goruillaz, they are at theirs, its downhill from here! Well remember Gorillaz includes Damon from Blur and after all these years he's still producing some BRILLIANT songs of many different genres with all his projects so I think it's impossible for either band to go downhill :D imo Blur are still great and have been consistant, unlike Oasis who did have the better songs but at least they've made their best album for ten years.

True, Gorillaz is fantastic, one of my favourite bands at the moment! And youre also right about Oasis, DBTT was good, just still not up their glory days.
March 7, 200619 yr Author I keep meaning to get that new Gorillaz album but never remember when I'm actually in the shop. BAH.
March 7, 200619 yr Oh! Gorillaz is another album I need to get :o *adds to list* :D Want some stuff by MSN? )unless it turns out to be crap like the last stuff!) I keep meaning to get that new Gorillaz album but never remember when I'm actually in the shop. BAH. Buy it, its great! Last Living Souls is the best album track, but nothing comes close to Feel Good Inc for best song!
March 7, 200619 yr Want some stuff by MSN? )unless it turns out to be crap like the last stuff!) No thanks ;) I've heard enough ^_^ and don't worry that was my crappy computer's fault <_<

March 7, 200619 yr Then go buy the album. Well I will when I get the money :cheer: Need to get Fightstar first ;) (Out next week)
March 7, 200619 yr Well I will when I get the money :cheer: Need to get Fightstar first ;) (Out next week) Nooooooooo! Fightstar? Dearie me! Hmm... that reminds me. Glad we can be of memory service!
March 8, 200619 yr I agree we need a more cohesive album just like OK Computer was. Their three last albums were good too, but were lacking in replayability... I actually liked Amnesiac better than Kid A, though it's close...
