January 22, 201213 yr I would've thought Chart Music 'All My Life' would be more suited to Best Scandipop Entry? Moreso than Best Indie but some tracks are difficult to define. A couple of songs I voted for could easily fit into several of the categories.
January 22, 201213 yr I agree with what GD is suggesting, Gotye & Kimbra seems more of an indie song than being pure pop. Whereas I'd say 'Riverside' is pop with indie influences. Same as 'Video Games'.
January 22, 201213 yr Jag Kommer only really sticks out as indie when you stack it against my other entries  If anything I'd class it as Scandi-Indiepop.
January 22, 201213 yr Oh yes final voting is today for the awards...? I wonder who will get which.. EDIT: Or not...? Edited January 22, 201213 yr by Oricon
January 22, 201213 yr Author Sorry, I think this will be tomorow now, I got most of the prep done on Friday but had to redo it because I did it at work and we then proceeded to get banned from the internet  If anyone is still awake and still cares I suppose I could do it in the next hour though.
January 22, 201213 yr Author We're not really meant to have access to it, but sometimes the filters don't work  However they were on all Friday afternoon :(
January 22, 201213 yr Author The results have been calculated, it's a shocker :o Sorry for the delays, results of the nominating and the final voting will begin tomorrow night, probably around 9pm.
January 23, 201213 yr Hoping I can scrape at least one more nomination, although I'm not quite sure where from! Most Improved Nation perhaps?
January 23, 201213 yr Author Hey y'all! Welcome back to Numayania for the big reveal of the nominations for The BJSC Awards 2012! You have been voting in your dozens for the songs and countries that have most impressed you over the year. So who do you want to see through tonight? The first nominations will be announced soon!
January 23, 201213 yr Author http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/4142/mostinspiredcountry.png Tonight's first award is for countries that have suprised, amazed and delighted over the last year with their fantastic musical taste and originality. Sort of like South Korea, I guess :kink: The nominees are... Batidas Caerfyrddia Elëdan Espen FSR Rontvia
January 23, 201213 yr Can't really object to any of those, I do think Erase You alone brings Batidas down a little bit though :P Joking, everyone has at least one dud :P
January 23, 201213 yr Author http://img860.imageshack.us/img860/8270/mostinspiredentry.png Our next award is for songs from those countries that are considered to be most inspired. You would expect to see a fair bit of crossover here, and you wouldn't be wrong! The nominees are... Allecian // Ask Embla - Ein Batidas // Agnes Obel - Riverside Batidas // Gotye feat. Kimbra - Somebody That I Used to Know Caerfyrddia // I Am A Camera - Endless Storm Elëdan // Azealia Banks - 212 Espen // Frida Gold - Wovon sollen wir träumen FSR Rontvia // Chart Music - All My Life Isconia // Lana Del Rey - Video Games
January 23, 201213 yr That's a very pleasing one to be shortlisted in, in VERY good company there too  edit: and a nod for All My Life there :o I thought Om Sanningen Ska Fram might be my main shot at that one being male, dance AND foreign but I can't complain!
January 23, 201213 yr Excellent choice of songs there in Most Inspired Song, especially I Am A Camera and Chart Music. 5 worthy countries in the country-specific version too.
January 23, 201213 yr Oh excellent, 2 nominations now! Thank you kindly to all that voted :D Edited January 23, 201213 yr by LexC
