I'd personally love a country episode, Finn and Rachel (perhaps?) could do Don't You Wanna Stay by Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson and (best of all) Santana could do Before He Cheats by Carrie Underwood (I don't know in what context as she's a lesbian, perhaps Brittany could go back to Artie secretly and Santana finds out? Obviously would have to renamed to Before SHE Cheats :lol:) - which would LITERALLY be the best Glee moment ever.

 

I'd also quite like a Rihanna tribute ep, seeing as they haven't used her quite as much I thought they would with her being such a star.

 

Dream Rihanna songs would be:

 

Unfaithful - Rachel

Hate That I Love You - Quinn and Puck or Santana and Brittany

Disturbia - Santana

What's My Name? - Brittany

 

And then a group number or two!

A British Invasion special. They could do songs by the British popstars, that are currently storming the US charts. (Jessie J, Adele) even past successes (Leona (HOW have they not covered 'Bleeding Love' yet? :mellow:), Amy Winehouse, Duffy (I know they did 'Mercy' but 'Warwick Avenue' would be nice)).

 

That way Jessie J could make her long awaited cameo in the show :D

 

Definitely agree about the Rihanna thing. I'm surprised they haven't done more Rihanna songs considering she is THE biggest popstar on the planet right now.

Rihanna's not exactly targeted at the same audience as Glee is. The fans of Glee will see Katy Perry more as the biggest popstar in the world, hence why they've covered everything from Teenage Dream and then some in the past two series!

 

I could see a British themed episode working, especially with Rory in the show, as it could introduce some of his family possibly?

 

I hope for a Beyoncé/Destiny's Child themed episode, but they have already done seven songs (plus 'Single Ladies') of the two artists.

Maybe a country theme given how popular the genre seems to be over in the US? I'm very surprised they haven't done Taylor Swift yet, she has a few songs which could fit in perfectly and she's huge in America (at least in terms of album sales).

I'm most pissed off that the only Carrie Underwood song they've done is Last Name, especially as it was Kristin Chenoweth that sang it :( I like her but on that song she sounds like a chipmunk...
