When Britney sang "lately people got me all tied up - there's a countdown waiting for me to erupt" she was told to keep her hands where they could see them. Hopefully all that will change after today's rumored hearing on the conservatorship, which removes Britney's rights to make legal decisions for herself.

 

Britney is an inspiration to millions because she keeps her head held high through it all. Making poor decisions five years ago does NOT equate to losing your civil rights! Yes, fans aren't in the know of what really goes on behind-the-scenes, nor do we pretend to, but the punishment obviously doesn't fit the crime.

 

Let's hope Britney's groundhogs day is over, because the girl's sold millions of albums and performed hundreds of shows since its evil inception and proved she can live life free from restraint.

I hope it goes well for her! I genuinely do. It'll be nice for her to finally have it lifted! I'm more curious to see how she'd work without it. Will she be making more decisions herself, or when it comes to work, will she still let the label decide stuff for her? She needs it lifted as it's the only thing dragging her down. And you can see it is.

Looks like the conservatorship is still in place. Another future court date have been scheduled for April 25th....

Makes you wonder why they're keeping this in place. Is she still mentally unstable? I don't get it.

She's 'allowed' to get engaged but still has this hanging over her?

 

Saying that, looking at interviews she's done and the shows I've been to, her personality seems to have seriously diminished. I don't fully understand what a conservatorship means. Does she have full custody of the kids now?

I think that custody is still 50/50, but it's obvious that kids are more with her than with Kevin.
