278. Bad Girls - M.I.A.

Not too bad a start I guess, hope it can at least go top 100.

Apparently it's a track from her Vikki Leekx mixtape so I guess that's not going to help its sales much - very excited for ner next single though.

Well it's essentially a remix of it yes. I'm taking it as more ofa buzz single before the proper launch?

Nicki Minaj update...

56. David Guetta & Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On

57. Nicki Minaj & Rihanna - Fly

80. Nicki Minaj - Stupid Hoe

92. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

Hopefully Turn Me On will become a big hit! Also her other singles are holding up well!

Jessie J, Cover Drive, Flo Rida & Sia and Gotye & Kimbra are all pretty close to each other now - I imagine the latter two will overtake Cover Drive soon, and possibly Jessie J too. Meanwhile, Guetta & Sia are finally taking a lead again - but the EP + multiple versions of Alyssa Reid are making it difficult. Hoping 'Titanium' can build up enough lead to reach #1 officially, I'd hate to see it peak at #2 again behind a worse song - it's like 'Moves Like Jagger' all over again, sigh.
I think Turn Me On will probably go top 40 thanks to the music video (not this week, but next week).
I work out 'Moves Like Jagger' to be #26 combined on iTunes. Rihanna on the other hand is down to only one version in the top 100 - so is approximately #31 on iTunes, subtracting the second version of Lana Del Rey and accounting for Maroon 5's two versions. The deletion of the single version has really mucked up 'We Found Love''s chart run - not that it'll matter much in a few weeks, as it's nearing the one million threshold - likely the biggest milestone it can reach now (I think 2 million is a little much).

I'm also hoping the combined sales of 'Born To Die' allow the track to climb into the top 10 on Sunday. :D

In other news, I've took advantage of the 59p price reduction and have bought 'Titanium'. We can't have Alyssa no. 1 in the UK with a song nobody will remember, or even care to remember by June 2012.

'Titanium' is excellent and needs to played forever. :w00t:

Of course it is. That's only ever been done by 4 or 5 songs.

I know people like to complain about Kiss The Starts getting played on television programmes. Half of the song was just played on Hollyoaks. Her cover of Dedication To My Ex is amazing!

Your post just motivated me to buy it

:D

If only more people could be motivated by my post.

My ideal top 3 this Sunday would be:

01 (02) David Guetta feat. Sia - Titanium (Woop!!! )

02 (NE) Madonna feat. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A. - Give Me All Your Luvin' (would probably climb to #1 the following week)

03 (NE) Alyssa Reid - Alone Again (only to have fallen out of the top 40 by early April never to be heard of again)

Or preferably Cover Drive dropping 01-03 but that ain't gonna happen.

My ideal top 3 would be:

01 David Guetta ft. Sia - Titanium

02 Alyssa Reid - Alone Again

03 Madonna ft. M.I.A. & Nicki Minaj - Gimme All Your Luvin'

Well that's being realistic, out of anything released right now I'd have Kelly Clarkson number 1 :P Titanium would still be the best number 1 since Someone Like You though

It's difficult to tell how Madonna's new single will do. It could do a "Born This Way" and sell enough in just 2 days to dent the top 3. Or it will sell fairly averagely for a big artist like Madonna and just about make the top 20. Personally, my gut feeling is that it'll go to #1 on iTunes but end up #3 officially on Sunday.

I predict Madonna's new song will perform more similarly to Judas than to Born This Way (in the first couple of weeks, and then after that depends on how much people like the song and how much promotion it gets).

So predict it will debut at #14, then climb into the top 10 the week after. Then maybe climb to #1 a month after that (or fall out of the chart promptly if the song sucks).

hw much as Guetta sold so far or is it revealed tomorow?
So "Without You" is doing the best of the album tracks, better than "Blue Jeans" even. Maybe people think it's a cover?

Oh and :cheer: at her being top 10 combined!

I think it being a deluxe edition track may have something to do with that.

Spam up for the taste of it spam up ;)
Alyssa Reid (Number 2 Version) has decreased 5% over Titanium since 2pm this morning :cheer:

David Guetta finally back on top!

[02] 01. (1.0000) David Guetta (feat. Sia) - Titanium

[01] 02. (0.9752) Alyssa Reid (feat. Jump Smokers) - Alone Again [3 versions]

[03] 03. (0.6224) Jessie J - Domino

[04] 04. (0.5990) Cover Drive - Twilight

[05] 05. (0.5961) Flo Rida (feat. Sia) - Wild Ones

[06] 06. (0.5786) Gotye (feat. Kimbra) - Somebody That I Used to Know

[07] 07. (0.4314) Rizzle Kicks - Mama Do the Hump

[08] 08. (0.3606) Kelly Clarkson - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)

[09] 09. (0.3454) Pitbull (feat. Chris Brown) - International Love [2 versions]

[10] 10. (0.3081) Lana Del Rey - Born to Die [3 versions]

[11] 11. (0.2861) Flo Rida - Good Feeling

[12] 12. (0.2777) Ed Sheeran - Drunk [2 versions]

[13] 13. (0.2727) Pixie Lott - Kiss the Stars

[14] 14. (0.2512) Labrinth (feat. Tinie Tempah) - Earthquake

[15] 14. (0.2512) Lloyd (feat. Andre 3000 + Lil Wayne) - Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) [2 versions]

Interestingly, Labrinth and Lloyd are on the same popularity figure for 'Titanium', but as Labrinth has another version at #171, it'll likely be a bit higher - plus the Now 80! version can't be too far away from the T200.

Must be really close between 10-13

10. Pixie Lott - Kiss The Stars

11. Pitbull & Chris Brown - International Love

12. Ed Sheeran - Drunk

13. Labrinth & Tinie Tempah - Earthquake.
