January 24, 201213 yr Bruno Mars is so overrated  12 million people actually bought JTWYA in 2011 -_- Rant over, great to see LMFAO doing very well and Lady GaGa's selling over 8 million despite her album not doing as well as expected
January 24, 201213 yr This list looks a bit odd, how the hell is Just The Way You Are 4.3 million ahead of Rolling In The Deep?
January 24, 201213 yr This list looks a bit odd, how the hell is Just The Way You Are 4.3 million ahead of Rolling In The Deep? Yeah I thought that, I realise its from November to November but Rolling In The Deep sold over 5 million copies in the US and almost a million in the UK, I can't see how it only sold 2 million copies the rest of the world when I thought it was the best selling single worldwide last year...strange. And where's Some Like You? Surely its sold over 6.5million?
January 24, 201213 yr I had no idea Bruno Mars was THAT big. I do like most of his songs but that's a tad over-the-top. Silly music-buying world.
January 24, 201213 yr Disappointing proof that mediocrity still seems to capture some people...... Bruno Mars would make a slice of white bread seem exciting.
January 24, 201213 yr This list looks a bit odd, how the hell is Just The Way You Are 4.3 million ahead of Rolling In The Deep? it was pretty massive worldwide wasn't it? I know Rolling In The Deep was too, but this sold constantly throughout 2011 as well Edited January 24, 201213 yr by C.W
January 24, 201213 yr it was pretty massive worldwide wasn't it? I know Rolling In The Deep was too, but this sold constantly throughout 2011 as well But it would have 'lost' a pretty big chunk of its total sales in 2010 (although the fact this is another 'end of year' chart that runs from fecking November to November (that makes NO sense, how is it the biggest seller of 2011 if that includes a month of 2010 and excludes a month of actual 2011 :arrr:) could explain it I guess). Like Cowboystyle said, RITD sold >6.5m in the US and UK alone in that timeframe AFAIA and I find it hard to believe it sold less than 2 million in the rest of the world with how massive it was everywhere. January 24, 201213 yr Bre is right, the list doesn't look right, and doesn't correlate with other the other figures we got at the end of last year... I assume they did this chart from December-November, because that's how they do it for the year-end Hot 100 chart in the US.
