Posted January 27, 201213 yr http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lk6hdn9Ybp1qeiaavo1_500.gif Sony Music confirmed to Britney-Spears.net that there will be no 5th single from Femme Fatale, since the album promotion was ended with the release of "Criminal" and it's not useful to still release something after the end of the world tour, although the album contract had stated that five singles would be released. The company also confirmed that Britney will start to record her 8th studio album in December. The album is expected to be released in mid 2013. The CEO of RCA also stated that the "Femme Fatale era is over!" http://britney-spears.net/?p=13390
January 27, 201213 yr Author If this album had been better promoted by her and her team, we could have had 7 single. 'Inside Out', 'How I Roll', 'Up N' Down', '(Drop Dead) Beautiful'... all were single worthy. But alas 'Femme Fatale' is an exceptional album and is probably tied with 'In The Zone' at being my second favorite album, after 'Blackout'.
January 27, 201213 yr I agree entirely, if it was handled just that little bit better and the era was more successful then I could definitely see them pushing Inside Out and probably How I Roll. I can see why they're not though.
January 27, 201213 yr I expect it must be her least successful era in the UK in terms of both singles and albums?
January 28, 201213 yr At least it'll give her time out to be with her two kids, settle down with Jason and concentrate on the conservatorship, without being stressed out/exhausted from the touring and whatever. Hopefully she'll put more involvement into this one.
February 7, 201213 yr They could always pull a Radar and tack Inside Out on to the next album I guess.
