CUPID DESCENDS ON MCKINLEY HIGH ON AN ALL-NEW "GLEE" TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 14, ON FOX

Jeff Goldblum ("Jurassic Park") and Brian Stokes Mitchell ("Kiss Me, Kate") Guest-Star

In honor of Valentine's Day, Will challenges the New Directions to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. Meanwhile, Rachel's two dads Hiram (Jeff Goldblum) and LeRoy Berry (Brian Stokes Mitchell) pay a visit to McKinley High in the all-new "Heart" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, Feb. 14 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-313) (TV-14 D, L, S)

As well as Rachel's Dads, it is also meant to be the first episode for Samuel from The Glee Project. The only concrete song rumour that I've read so far is 'Stereo Hearts'.

Rachel's dads have a song together too, but I've not heard anything about what it will actually be. I've also heard Tina and Mike have a duet.

New song rumours:

I Will Always Love You - Mercedes

L-O-V-E - Mike and Tina

'I Will Always Love You' probably will not work - Mercedes hasn't had a "moment" like that since 'And I Am Telling You...', and I doubt it's going to come in that song.

Both true. Rest of the songs are 'Let Me Love You' [Mario], 'Cherish/Cherish' [Madonna/Kool & The Gang?], 'You're The Top' [from the musical 'Anything Goes' which gave us the wonderful mash-up in S03E01], 'Home' [many possibilities, I've seen Michael Bublé rumoured] & 'Love Shack' [The B-52s].

Most excited for Love Shack right now.

Apparently it'sArtie singing Let Me Love You. It seems that him and Rory are competing for Sugar so I imagine Rory will sing something (maybe Home, as it suits him) to her as well as Artie presumably singing that to her. I just wish they'd stop giving Artie solos so much though :manson:

Songs leaked:

Stereo Hearts (Gym Class Heroes) - Sam, Mercedes, Joe & Quinn

I Will Always Love You (Dolly Parton, Whitney Houston version) - Mercedes

Love Shack (The B-52s) - Mercedes, Blaine, Kurt, Rachel and Brittany

Let Me Love You (Mario) - Artie

(Anything Goes) - Hiram and Leroy

Home (Michael Buble) - Rory

L-O-V-E (Nat King Cole) - Tina and Mike

Cherish/Cherish (The Association/Madonna) - Quinn, Mercedes, Joe and Sam

I can attest IWALY is a MOMENT

(for anyone wondering, Joe is Samuel Larsen's character, he won The Glee Project)

Just to warn you all, You're The Top is totally wtf in a 'my god this is awful but I must listen to it all' way  I was expecting Home to be terminally dull but I actually don't mind it :o Stereo Hearts is great, Love Shack is good but I imagine the performance will bring it up. L-O-V-E is pretty dull and I don't have feelings either way for the Cherish mash-up, it's OK I guess. Not even bothered with LMLY, I always hate Artie solos :P

Does Brittany actually have a solo on 'Love Shack'? The whole concept sounds hilarious - the performance will surely be a car-crash. It's by The B-52's by the way, Liam. And yes, I do actually know that

I'm guessing Rory is leaving in this episode if he is singing about wanting to go home. I always find it so stupid how the number of members in the Glee club will always be at 12-13, and if somebody new arrives, they'll just dump someone else for them.

Also, I don't expect much for Joe/Samuel Larsen - Rory has been an absolute waste, and I'd be feeling seriously pissed off if I had won the contract and had a total of 1 story - not even a storyarc.

Does Brittany actually have a solo on 'Love Shack'?

She has a couple of lines solo. As I said above, it's good but I imagine it'll be one of those Glee tracks that grows considerably once you see the performance.

(also I did know who it's by, kind of a typo :P)

I don't think Rory is leaving, I think his contract was extended and the song could be part of *something else* if rumours I've read are true but he has been a waste for the most part. They could do with him sticking around though for when a few originals exit the club at the end of the season.

I wasn't a huge fan of Samuel during The Glee Project but he brings it on 'Stereo Hearts' & I love how one of the lyrics has been changed from 'Travie' to 'Trouty'.

EDIT; Artie/Sugar/Rory love triangle confirmed for this episode, at least they're making use of two currently underused characters.

Oh noooo! :( I was really liking Rory! I thought he would have been a really likeable and "cute" character! Why have they wasted him? :nocheer:

Stereo Hearts is good, Quinn should be singing Mercedes bits though.

I can't imagine Rachel not being in Glee, she's amazing.

Producers are undecided as whether to add a tribute to Whitney in correspondence with Mercedes' cover of 'I Will Always Love You'. I think it'd be a nice touch - even if it's just an extra title card at the beginning or end. There's a story here.

Best/funniest episode in a while I thought, they seemed to pay a lot more attention to all the members, especially Sugar & Rory which was great.

Was really good to see Dave back too. He's also listed on the cast list for next week so hopefully we'll see more of him again.

Could somebody please send me a link to watch this on? I've tried like 10 different ones, and they all either keep stopping mid-way or won't even begin playing - so frustrating!

EDIT: I've got it now - it's so annoying that Megavideo isn't online any more, as that was always the best site to stream via :(

Best episode of Glee in a while. Loved every single minute of it. Rachel's dads were a godsend and it was strangely good to see Dave back. Not too sure how I feel on the whole 'Dave loves Kurt' thing and Blaine continues to be an annoyance despite his lack of screentime in recent weeks. KILL HIM OFF GLEE.
