What he wrote there makes me feel quite sad :(

Some people can really write some nasty things on forums, doesn't matter how famous you are when reading comments, still upsetting...

He shouldn't take this too hard, this is the way forums work. Tons of people saying things they would never say face to face (because they simply do not mean to!). Forums are a DIFFERENT way of expressing yourself and communicating with others and should only be treated as such imo. Do never consider conversations made in forums with face to face criteria. It is like joining the rugby team and complaining about the pushing-around. Forums (especailly fan-of-A-artist oriented ones are a 'man's sport' , there is a lot of violence involved in the conversation, but just because this is how this works/ why this damned thing was made / how it is more fun. There are no real hatred or bad feelings involved imo, should be taken more lightly. I doubt any fans would like to hurt his feelings. And I seriously doubt even 'haters' would really bother hurting his feelings. It is like making a noxious comment for a soap-oprera character you dislike with your friends, it has nothing to do with the person himself, and you naturally wouldn't want to insult him if you ever had a real life conversation with him.

Some artists should be more forum-educated imo.

Some forums just bring out the best & the worst in people , with the downright militants , the know it all's & the holier than thou's & then the ones like me who just couldn't be ars*d ... makes for very interesting reading ;)
Some people think internet forums are real life. Get a bit obsessed I think. <_<

Robbie Wins An ECHO Award!

25 Mar 2013

Last Thursday saw the 22nd annual ECHO Awards take place at Messe Berlin and we are very happy to announce that Robbie was honoured with the award for Best International Rock/Pop Male Artist!

The ceremony celebrates the yearly prize-giving of the German Phono Academy and Robbie's award is his eighth in the same category, this time for his No.1 album Take The Crown.

Robbie wasn't able to attend the show but had pre-recorded an acceptance speech, which you can watch below along with his opening to the ceremony with host Helene Fischer.

He was the one that gave his fans a ' label ' as in friendlies, makes some folks feel like they have a personal connection with the guy , he only has himself to blame. Doing stuff like that leaves him wide open to criticism ,. I have seen worse written about other artists, actually some of the stuff I have read is unbelievable but I suppose it's easy to say horrible stuff about someone they do not even know personally if you are a faceless coward hiding behind a computer screen. It's even worse where young people are being bullied online , there have been a couple of cases here where youngsters have taken their own lives because of it , scary eh !!!

I would have quessed people born in this climate would be somewhat more resistant to it!

I never really managed to come to terms with the terrible British weather, it is honestly the worst thing about the UK imo... It is unusually hot even for Greece at this time of the year here, 29C, and I saw a dozen of sunburnt people on my way home  You should perhaps consider a summer trip to southern grounds when possible ;)
