They are playing at the Forum in Kentish Town as part of their autumn tour. I suspect that will be their biggest gig to date (possibly excluding festival appearances).
Got a ticket for the Nottingham show, not arsed that I've no one to go with. They're too good to miss!

How big is the Nottingham venue? I'm assuming it's quite small whereas the Forum has a capacity of over 2,000.

Missed them the last time round Leeds, intend to correct this in November. For me the album is on par with All Hail Bright Futures by ASIWYFA for album of the year. Vinyl has barely stopped playing in my house. Even got the housemates addicted!

"Everest" is to be used in adverts for Freeview. Part of me hopes it'll race up the charts in response.

Preferably all the way to the summit.

Found the advert in question. Rather disappointingly, they only use a small part from the start of the song, instead of the main melody. Oh well, perhaps there's an extended version of the advert.

The next single will apparently be "Night Mail".

It is due to depart (pending network delays) from the station on 4th November! :D

Public Service Broadcasting released a new single yesterday, "Elfstedentocht". It's based on a speed skating event that takes place in the Netherlands on a very rare basis, and it's vocal samples are entirely in Dutch.

Also, J Willgoose Esq. was recently interviewed for Northern Irish music website Chordblossom ahead of dates there next month. The name of the interviewer sounds familiar...

So I saw PSB last night, they was absolutely immense. I wasn't sure how they'd transfer live but they're ridiculously talented and were very funny too. I heard a lot of people significantly older than me say they were one of the best acts they've ever seen. I'd definitely see them again if I get the chance.
This is up there with CHRVCHES for my favourite album of the year, and from that article, Wildegoose seems to be an interesting guy. I've been forcing all my friends to listen to the album since it came out.
