I think this shows Madonna literally has no chance of going to number one, even with Nicki Minaj on it!

Its only been out since 3pm!! if anything she is on course to top itunes.

Why do people think it's flopping? Noone from general public actually know the song yet, it just went to radios today. The video has just come out too. Also I assume the single charting is the one purchased on its own without the pre-order deal. Most fans would have bought it with the album which doesn't count.

The version in the chart atm is combined sales from the pre-order and people buying the song seperately, I think (I'm not 100% sure though).

But I agree. I just can't understand why people think she's flopping already?!

It's so frustrating, I swear this happens EVERY time a female pop artist releases a song, and everybody seems to have concluded it's a flop within hours of its release, only to be proven wrong time and time again. You'd think they'd stop doing that now. I remember We Found Love was a "flop", because when it was released in the US initially it went to #2 on iTunes, then started free-falling.

Also this promo is itunes only till the 6th of feb, so after the 6th it will be available on other outlets like amazon. So i think the single should count after that date.

Didnt even know Madonna had a song out today till today  and i still havent heard it, not fussed.

Turn Me On  #14 Wow go get that top 10!

Well with minimal airplay and seemingly not too much hype, Madonna's doing fine!
We could have two Nicki songs in the top 10 next week (Turn Me On and Give Me All Your Luvin')!

The latter will probably be disqualified, unfortunately. Unless you're talking about on iTunes, in which case I agree!

I wonder if David Guetta could end up with two UK #1 singles in a short space of time? 'Titanium' will hopefully get it this Sunday, but 'Turn Me On' is shooting up and could well be top 10 in the next 24 to 48 hours. Then it will most likely benefit from tracks higher up tailing off as their sales start to decrease.

I don't mind Madonna's new song though Minaj and MIA's chants are quite annoying.

Hopefully Born To Die will be #8 soon unless Madonna takes over.

It'd be great if Turn Me On goes in the top 10, as two of my favourite singles from this Guetta era will be in it together! :D

It be more of a shock if David Guetta knocks himself off the week after

You literally can't predict where the track will peak as Will.i.am could be anywhere inside the top 10 next week, along with Gotye

Interesting CIRCLE OF LIFE going on with this possibility opening up - first it looked like Flo Rida could get 2 #1s in a short period of time, one featuring Sia. Had Wild Ones got to #1, Sia could have been heading for 2 #1s in a short period of time as well, one with David Guetta. And now David Guetta could be heading for 2 #1s in a short period of time! (And completing the circle David Guetta and Flo Rida previously collaborated on a #1 single).

And then of course you could continue it even further to Nicki Minaj with both Turn Me On and Give Me All Your Luvin' doing well :P

I was thinking, that could genuinely happen with Nicki in the US (although that sort of thing happens a LOT there in general anyway).

They should just all do a mash-up of all those songs (let's face it, those songs wouldn't be difficult to mash-up...), and then they'd ALL have 2 #1s.

I forgot, am I meant to be the hippo or the dog?

Lana Del Rey is the only person in the red zone in the top 10, I guess the weekend effect is having an impact. I hope Pixie Can overtake her before Will.I.am enters the top 10. Saying that David Guetta & Nicki Minaj should go top 10 (iTunes) soon along with Ed Sheeran.
