I Would Have Hoped Encore - Fun Last Night Was Higher, These Lads Seem To Have The Talent But I Think Not Having The Airtime On Radio 1 Or 1xtra Is Killing It.
That's interesting what they do in Japan. It makes sense though, I was wondering how some artists have so many #1s!! :lol: There's some groups there that have like 20+ #1s.

I'm glad you agree about I Just Wanna F***! :D It's such a weird song. I love it. It sounds totally different to everything else David Guetta does. It was co-produced by Afrojack aswell. I don't know how to describe it, but to me it sounds like a mixture of Stupid Hoe, Swagger Jagger, Look At Me Now (also co-produced by Afrojack) and Single Ladies. :lol: It's just so weird. And whenever I listen to it, the part where the police car/ambulance sirens come in, I ALWAYS think they're real. :lol: I love it, but nobody would have a clue it's a David Guetta song if they heard it on the radio, they'd just hear Dev's voice and think it's one of her own songs. :lol:

hahaha exactly.. the very first tme I listened to the song I was walking down the street, and the I heard the sirens I was like 'OH GOD, there was an accident' and I was turning my head side to side to see what happened .. but .. there was no accident .. it was Guetta XDDDD, and yes I sound just like a Dev song :)

May as well join on the David Guetta bangwagon;

From Nothing but the Beat;

Titanium > Where Them Girls At > Little Bad Girl > Sweat > Turn Me On > Without You

All actually brilliant singles, in my opinion. A really solid album from Guetta this time around, 'Repeat' with Jessie J would be my second favourite behind 'Titanium', but 'Crank It Up' with Akon and 'Nothing Really Matters' with will.i.am are both generic, but nice songs. 'I Just Wanna F.' is a lowlight for me, Timbaland and Dev are both incredibly dull artists, the only good thing from Dev has been 'In the Dark', but that flopped.

David Guetta as a whole;

Memories > Titanium > Repeat > Love Is Gone > Where Them Girls At

If we're going to include Sweat in the ranking, put that way in the lead for me. My sixth favourite song of 2011.

David Guetta used to be quite good prior to 2007. Since then I've liked three songs, When Love Takes Over, Where Dem Girls at and Turn me On. They aren't groundbreaking but they are listenable enough.

Best of all though:

may as well join in:

turn me on > titanium >>> without you > sweat >>>> where them girls at >>>>>>>> little bad girl

I really don't know what possessed them to release LBG, it's the worst song on the album. it's not bad, it's just incredibly generic.

I'm the same. Whenever the song is playing I instinctively look around, then I'm like "Oh...". :lol:

Although there is no denying 'Turn Me On' is generic, I still think it's one of the freshest songs David Guetta has produced. I really don't see how the melody is similar to the likes of 'Where Them Girls At' and 'Sexy Bitch' etc...

You're right, the melodies aren't similar at all. What makes them sound the same to me is the beat. And how the verses are like some quiet beat that crescendos up to the chorus which is this loud beat that has synths, and they go 1...2...3...4... What I just typed probably makes no sense, but do you know what I mean? Like congrats to David Guetta and Akon for having such a revolutionary song (even though it's not, as similar things were done before many times) and everything, but it's got so boring now. And it currently seems to be the only thing people want to listen to. It's so annoying. I Gotta Feeling is the same with that guitar-sounding thing that goes through it. And Good Feeling, Only Girl, Give Me Everything, etc.

Melody-wise, the only song I can think of that sounds like Sexy Chick (the chorus) is SOS/Tainted Love.

Pretty big climbs today for Someone Like You/Set Fire To The Rain/Rolling In The Deep. I wonder why? I guess there may be a bit of hype around the 60 Minutes interview regarding Rolling In The Deep.

Wow, that is the longest song title I've ever seen! What about it though? I don't see it on iTunes... :huh:

And since 8pm 'Make You Feel My Love' has also gone and re-entered the top 100 at #97 :lol: There must have been some additional source of Adele hype today.

Her songs are cilmbing in the US too (all three singles are top 15 now :o), so I think you're right about the 60 Minutes interview helping. I was really worried about what her voice would sound like after the operation, but it seems to be okay. :lol:

Mama Do The Hump :up: #7

Twilight :down: #8

Madonna :down: #32 :o This could manage only 1 week in the top 40 unless radio airplay really picks up, and there is promo planned!

Mama Do The Hump :up: #7

Twilight :down: #8

:cheer: Hopefully Twilight will be out of the top 10 very shortly if it can be overtaken by Guetta/Nicki, DJ Fresh and Emeli Sandé.

Cher Lloyd - Want U Back as climbed alot over the last few days, Was #44 at the start of the week now its #29! :o

Oh yess :wub:

Guetta from 2002-2007 >>>>>>>>>>

One Love album was nice change, but this new album is bad copy of One Love.

For me would be

Turn Me On > Titanium >>>>>>>>>>>> Little bad Girl >>> Without You >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Where The Girls At (his worst song ever)

Just wondering... anything on Dionne Warrick, she was the music guest on Jonathan Ross tonight, for some reason I can't see her making it on the music charts this week :(
