BJSC LXXXVII POTENTIALS

The Buzzjack world has been invited to a summit in Syndare's capital Töissä, running until Sunday evening, to assist in the selection of the nation's entry into the eighty-seventh Buzzjack Song Contest. After the previous month's catastrophic failure - which led to entrant Calypso requiring a government security escort from Töissä's airport on her return to avoid the baying mob gathered outside - the SSSB (Syndarian Song Selection Body) is welcoming delegates from across the Buzzjack world with open arms to advise on where the body may be going wrong with their recent selections, with no contest this year providing the nation with a result within the top twenty.

The SSSB unveiled the five potential entrants in a glittering opening ceremony on Wednesday evening, with former Syndarian winner Belanger providing a stunning DJ set at the post-show party.

Syndare thanks the delegates for their assistance and hopes they enjoy their stay in Töissä's premiere five-star hotel, the Härlig.

Easy choice here for me! Love the production on that Yoko song and I really like the effect on the vocals as well ~ a bit of a bop. (Plus it's a Persephonia artist recycle so what's not to love lol).

 

I've heard 'Despicable' before via PJSC and it's just weird, and not in a good way I think. :s

 

The other 3 songs are all about the same level of DECENT but would be hard pressed to stand out in a contest I think. (bearing in mind I don't like Years & Years and NIMMO are basically a clone of them, I'm probably underselling that)

The first track is perfect for the post-Years and Years world.

I was not aware Ryder had new material out!
