haha why was it a waste of a top 3 hit?!

Because its chart run has gone 3-6-9-16-31-48-(one more week low top 100)-x.

So its because it peaked high and fell to nothing that its a waste?

He describes it as a 'waste' because it kept songs that were bigger hits from the top 3 and people will think it was a big hit because it peaked at #3 when infact it wasn't a big hit at all, so the peak is misleading.

Jessie J performing Domino on the first episode of Lets Dance With Sport Relief. Should give it a good boost. There's also the Brit Awards next week so it should hopefully get back into the top 3.

LMFAO update:

20. Sexy and I Know It

71. Party Rock Anthem

113. Party Rock Anthem

375. Champagne Showers - Amazing longevity for a song that just scraped top 40 last year! Wow! :o

415. Sorry for Party Rocking - Will probably climb into the top 10 this time next month.

668. Sexy and I Know It

682. Give Me All your Luvin' (Party Rock Remix)

695. I'm In Miami Bitch - I used to love this

Her next single is LaserLight apparently, so I think it would be better if she performed that now, but you're probably right that she'll promote Domino for a bit longer.

770. Chiddy Bang 'Opposite of Adults'

^ This is one of the recent 59p additions - so it'll be interesting to see how much this climbs over the coming week. 'Ray Charles' is released next Sunday (February 26) and the album, 'Breakfast' is released the following Monday (March 5). Would like to see it back in the top 200, I remember it having that incredible 16-16-16 chart run in the first three weeks of release, although follow-up single 'Truth' (which sampled Passion Pit) only managed a #50 peak from OA/OS release.

Her next single is LaserLight apparently, so I think it would be better if she performed that now, but you're probably right that she'll promote Domino for a bit longer.

She will most certainly be promoting Domino, its not even past its official release week yet. 'Laserlight' is not being released until April, in time for The Voice I believe.

Troublemaker peaked at number 3 because people didn't have enough money left after buying the Christmas turkey with all the ingredient trimmings and clothes for their loved ones.

So is the only significant release at midnight GCH/Neon Hitch?

I think so. And I think it's also Cher Lloyd's official release week, so she'll probably climb a bit next week (not as much as One Direction have though).

lol. You saying it would've got higher otherwize?

I'm still hoping for Cher to scrape top 20 but I don't know if I can see it. It depends how far Syco go for her and I haven't heard anything about her being on DOI? This is probably the end of the era. :(

What I mean is that people didn't have enough money left after Christmas to buy other songs which is why troublemaker was as high as number 3

She's only flopping because her fans have spent too much money on tracksuits so they don't have enough money to spend on Want U Back :(

OH MY GOD

Oh good. I still think it was so strange it debuted at #3 off such little promotion (similar to Moves Like Jagger in that sense, but THANKFULLY Troublemaker didn't end up having the same success as it ).

Actual LOL (although tracksuits went out of fashion in like 2007, but still).

Jessie J - 'Domino'

JLS - 'Do You Feel What I Feel?'

Imagine the former will see a more noticeable boost, in that it'll likely climb 6-3 or 6-4 depending on how well DJ Fresh does on its second week and whether or not Gym Class Heroes grab another front-loaded peak position. The JLS track sounds incredibly old, it's a Christmas song - they would've been better performing 'Proud' for the first time, after all their involvement in Sports Relief can be interpreted as a last attempt to save their career before album 4.

On the topic of Jessie J's next single, I too have read that it's 'LaserLight' - although 'Repeat' is also rumoured to be the sixth single from Guetta after 'Turn Me On' and 'Titanium' end their campaigns - both at the same time would be a bit weird. 'LaserLight' is awful though, 'Domino' is a pop as she needs to go - although if it's success is anything to go by, album #2 will be considerably more upbeat and dance-orientated. Would rather see 'My Shadow' from the re-release chosen as the next single, or just get Jessie into the studio and make a new track in preparation for The Voice - a new track'd be more likely to grab another #1 I reckon.

I would really like to buy the new song from Dot Rotten, Dappy and Chiddy Bang but alas the record companies rule!!
