Oh WOW at that cover :o Don't even know what i'm seeing, but i think it kind of works... Maybe?

She's also confirmed that she has collaborated with Gaga, Beyonce and Kanye (in some way or another).

Oh it's for the single! But that's worse for a forum like Buzzjack! Pretty sure it'll be in a few peoples charts/sigs/the multichart etc... haha. Just freaky. :P

So glad she finally commented. Sounds like 'Ratchet' with Gaga and Beyonce is happening, and Kanye has always been one of her biggest supporters so I kind of expected her to be on his upcoming album anyway.

Oh my lord. I don't even know what I think of that. Such a flop stan but I am not sure, it is kind of amazing and kind of horrific in one? I was expecting this to SLAY on first listen. Then again, I wasn't actually convinced by 212 at first listen either actually, and it look a good 10 listens until I got it in such a big way. Hmm...

I don't know what to make of that song. I'd love to love it cause it's Azealia but, it's just "there".

I think people calling it "amazing" is purely down to it being by Azealia. No one would ever care for that track if it wasn't for Azealia and if this had been out before the whole "212" business. It's shouty for the sake of it.

And this comes from someone who basically wanked over "212" for over 2 years, and I liked "Fantasea" too. But this is just bland.

Definitely a LOVE/HATE track. I think many of you who aren't moved by it now will eventually get it. It's a grower though. I can definitely see potential and, while I'm not completely feeling it now, I know it will grow on me.

'212' it ain't though.

But I'm glad she hasn't just tried to recreate the magic of '212' though. This is completely different and I admire her for that reason.

This has grown so much on me already. Been playing it non-stop actually, and I also admire her for doing something different, after all she did say that the album was an 'anti-pop' record and 'nothing like what is happening now in music' and on that front it delivers everything that she promised. I don't think it will ever be one of my favourite of her songs, and I am still not feeling it as the LEAD single. But anyway, even if it does nothing in the charts and loads of people hate it, I can still bop to it and at least she stuck to her guns. After all 'Massive Attack' did nothing really for Nicki, so I am not too worried about commercial success.
Also, before you write it off, listen to it full blast on good headphones and it is an entirely different experience, especially with THAT beat. I made the mistake of listening on shitty laptop speakers at first.

From the first listen, I knew listening to it full blast was the key. It's definitely one of those songs.

It's a shame she couldn't have released something like 'Chips' or 'Atlantis' as the lead single though.

What is everyone talking about?! This sounds incredible on first listen!
Amazing, it is growing on me :D

I'll admit I wasn't impressed with 'Yung Rapunxel' at first, and this is coming from a big Azealia Banks fans. It's grown on me though. Just wish "Esta Noche" had been the bridge - chart-wise - between the two; casual listeners to "212"/Banks aren't going to be that impressed.

Eager to hear "Miss Amor"/"Miss Camaraderie" now though - hopefully we don't have to wait too long to hear 'em.
