Normal & deluxe will definitely be combined as they were in the UK.

Yeah, I'd say this was a bad week for One Direction to choose. Adele's sales are very high still because of the Grammys.

Even though they were over a month ago? I'd say it's a good week as aside from Adele there isn't much competition right now [rather than say in a couple of weeks when Nicki Minaj releases her album] and they have some promo coming up which means it hopefully won't bomb once the teenage buy fades off.

I've heard that the deluxe and the normal version will be combined.

Have you ever seen the standard and deluxe not counted together?

Have you ever seen the standard and deluxe not counted together?

Lol no I haven't. People on other forums have been saying how it may not be counted together, whereas some have said that it will. I was just stating that it should be combined and that's what I've always known.

I'd like to see US midweek.

Great week for the boy bands, especially for 1D! :D

As we all know, One Direction have triumphed at #1 on the album chart, with around 177,000 sales. Single's position not confirmed yet, but surely a Top 20 hit this week?

The Wanted progress to #3 on the Hot 100, and have now sold 1,186,000 downloads.

WMYB was #19 on the Hot 100 and One Thing also entered at #90. (WMYB was #7 on Digital Songs but lack of airplay let it down).
Candidly, I think this is very unlikely... BUT... wouldn't it be great if The Wanted's album also debuted at #1?

I don't know what else is released that week (although Train & Jason Mraz are out the week before) but I think it's unlikely. Still, I'm thinking the promo singles released beforehand will help to shift some extra copies.

Don't know how reliable it is but Wikipedia claims one new track was written by Siva from the band along with Ester Dean & Rihanna, along with Dappy featured on a song called 'Invincible', which was on their 2nd UK album but without Dappy.

WMYB was #19 on the Hot 100 and One Thing also entered at #90. (WMYB was #7 on Digital Songs but lack of airplay let it down).

yeah especially with the inclusion of the On Demand Chart....

Do you think that The Wanted has a chance to have a #1 album? With who they will compete in their 1st week?

^ *Late reply* I honestly can't predict how well their album will do or not! It's an EP, so I presume it'll be cheaper than a standard album. Perhaps that'll go in their favour?

And do you know with who they will compete in their first week of sale?

I don't think the competition is too big, a Jack White solo album [The White Stripes seem to have had a couple of top 3 albums in the US] & Lee Brice [his first album got nowhere near #1, I just know he's currently on the Hot 100 and on the airplay updates]. I'd say The Wanted have a good shot because they are cheaper than the other releases on Amazon and the promo is good with the current single/airplay, American Idol last week and The Voice next week so they've probably built up a fanbase [teenage girls] that will be buying it.

Train & Jason Mraz are both out the week before, don't know how they'll be doing second week.
