I've been worshipping at the altar of Sarah Dawn Finer for years now, it's good to see people following suit!

It's so full of moments and I find more with each watch. My favourite right now is "it'll be finished in time..hopefully". Or the way she doesn't like the 'smell of excitement'.

It's the whole thought of an Essex girl actually giving a f*ck about Eurovision that I love! How many people in the UK could tell you that the contest will be held in Baku this year? Whereas the whole of Sweden probably know.

Amanda Tapping does an amazingly ropey 'bladdy hell' in Sanctuary, that's the gold standard for me now.

I watched this earlier.

 

- Gutted Molly only came 5th, and died in the televoting.

- WTF were the UK jury on?

- Mirkalen is EPIC although I was looking forward to the English bits

- Finally 'got' Euphoria in the final. Happy it won, but wasn't my favourite on the night. Far preferred Molly, also Danny.

- The dubstep section in Amazing is LIFE itself. The whole song is brilliant.

- That Thornsten Prick thing was the only bad song. Nothing else made being deaf seem like an attractive alternative to hearing.

- I actually have a soft spot for Dead By April. Screamo bits aside it's a bloody good song, and even then I can happily overlook the screech bits.

- Top Cats, Ulrick and Lisa Miskovsky were just meh. Lisa had a piss poor slot that made her sound so dull.

- Shout It Out is also rather good no?

- Sarah Dawn Finer is clearly some kind of god. We should import/steal her to present everything. She'd certainly perk up the X Factor.

 

 

And last but by no means least; Molly Sandén :wub: What a legend. :wub: Another sublime performance of that absolutely brilliant track.

I don't get why Sarah Dawn Finer has haters? She defines amazing. How does a Swede manage such a spot on interpretation of the Essex accent?

TEARS OF LAUGHTER. My god this is absolutely OUTSTANDING. I had to pause it after this so I could remember how to breathe and recover before entering stan mode over Molly.

 

 

Someone get this woman a sketch show NOW.

Blasphemy I know but I *think* I may love that sketch even more than Christine Meltzer's Malena one :o They're at least on par with one another. A Swede, doing an Essex girl impersonation and getting it absolutely spot on? It would be funny on a UK sketch show, but a skit from a Swedish Eurovision national final? Heaven :wub:

 

Also, is it wrong that I find her ridiculously attractive in that guise?

Not at all. I certainly prefer it to the Malena one. (Although we are really talking about a 13.1/10 and a 13/10 life defining moments here)

 

 

There is something insanely attractive about her.

I may have to buy the dvd of this, assuming there is one this year. So many hilarious skits, such as this and the buffering one!

Watched the final on a big screen, it was epic <3 Gina, Sarah and Helena were all fabulous, my favorite moments were the EBU Sketch, Votes from the Norwegian jury presented by Tooji and of course Loreen winning! :wub: I also quite enjoyed watching Sarah's enormous boobs :lol: and on a big screen you can only imagine :kink:

Harlot racked up 80,000 but still not enough, 9,000 short of the lowest Andra Chansen qualifier :drama: Danny got WAY more votes in his heat than Loreen got in hers :o

She'd have come 5th in Heat 1 and 2 as well, but DTG in heat 3 :(

I KNEW that that would happen from the moment I saw the unveiling of the heats, I wish they wouldn't do that :drama: Actually she was rather close to Dynazty on the second round of voting, less than 3,000 from AC.

Mattias was so close to Youngblood! :drama: He even beat them in terms of the second round of voting. DAMN IT ALL.

 

And Sean beat Youngblood by a huge margin in the end! Interesting to see how the voters were much more active for the bottom half of AC.

Sean Banan JUST missed the Final :drama: SO DAMN CLOSE! :( If him and Thorsten were in different duell groups, they would both make it :drama:

 

I guess Danny got more votes in his heat because he was already hyped up the most before the contest whereas nobody really saw the contender for the win in Loreen until she won the heat. Plus Heat 4 generally had more votes.

 

'Don't let me down' came 3rd :o
