February 28, 201214 yr Marcus Collins just releasing a song (regardless of quality) so soon after The X Factor finished is a good thing. It'll certainly keep him in the public domain for a few weeks with the album release too. If Little Mix can get something out before the next season of X Factor begins then they too could survive the dreaded "winners' curse" waiting so long to release a new single, the public are already bored of them. Either that, or they comeback in October with a brilliant pop song that really boosts their career. I wouldn't hold my breath on this happening...

But he's being marketed as nothing but a Mother's Day purchase, it's hardly a successful strategy for anything long-term, but I suppose it'll at least guarantee him one hit album. It'll be hard to transform him into anything resembling a popstar now...

I reckon Joe would've been more successful if he'd just released an album of ballads in time for Mothers Day in 2010. Yes, it might not have made him successful now, and I'm sure Marcus Collins could well be finished by this time next year. Not that I really care. :D I've heard his version of 'Seven Nation Army' and I'm indifferent. I don't like it, but I don't hate it either.

It completely distorts it. Its not edgy indie with a thumping beat anymore, its so much more tame. The spirit is gone

It's because it's a cover which is IDENTICAL to the Ben L'oncle Soul cover from a couple of years back, they're trying to pass it off as an original interpretation but it couldn't be further from that. It's just cheap and tacky in every single way!
