A pity.

I bet half of annual Sanmarinese GDP was spent making this video / recording this song! :(

Where did you get those artist models in your sig? :o

Thanks :)

I was just thinking, Facebook Uh, oh, oh could work against the grannies since they're both in the second half of semi one.

What do you think? If San Marino sends this song in it's current form I could see it stealing a lot of novelty votes from Russia.

Let's just hope grannies are drawn to perform before Valentina!
I really hope this is allowed in! I NEED to see the performance of it.
I've been humming this all day today.

the music is quite good the lyrics are accesible the performer has a good voice. But the whole package is not so enjoyable. I know it's satyrical but I don't get why a 37 years old woman have to act like a 12 years old girl. It's irritating for me. Maybe this song could do better in JuniorESC (without the cyber sex part of course :kink: )

I think if they change/write a new lyrics for this I could love it. Still like it but it's a bit silly.

About the rules it says (1.2.2.) g) "No commercial messages of any kind shall be allowed. A breach of this rule may result in disqualification." Now I think they will be disqualified if they don't change the lyrics.

:(

I hope it's just a new song, I mean 'internet uh oh oh' just doesn't have as much of a ring to it at all...

I will cry if they replace it with some bland ass ballad or a pop-rocky 40-year old Kelly Clarkson on drugs in a Disney movie song :(

Thank god for that, hopefully San Marino can provide at least an OK entry!
Thanks :)

They're very different kinds of novelty...it's a bit like saying Romania would've stolen votes off of Verka in 2007.

On Friday, the Sammarinese Eurovision entry was presented. It is called "Facebook Uh, Oh Oh" which raised questions about its possible rule breaking

The rules of Eurovision Song Contest does not allow any commercial messages. This is why San Marino have to change the song or make radical changes to its lyrics.

On her Facebook page, Valentina Monetta says that a decision of the Reference Group will be respected peacefully and required changes will be made by March 22nd.

Sad they have to change, but I'd much rather have a totally different song (even another ballad) than 'internet uh oh oh' :(
Looks like it's not the UK that confirms their song last.

Network uh oh oh sounds better.

I could deal with Network (Uh Oh Oh) or AT A PUSH Internet (Uh Oh). I'm trying to think of a better alternative but my imagination has died a death I think. I NEED this song in the contest, even if they have to change it a bit. It's not like they're going to find a Euphoria or Echo at this stage.
