Surely it would make more sense if they had dropped her if the single was released just before the album was announced?

Amelia has said that it was her choice to push the album release back as she wasn't completely happy with it and the release will apparently be in autumn/winter to capitalise on the X Factor live shows.

TBF Diana Vickers got a guest show slot with "My Wicked Heart" in 2010 so anything's possible. Even Rebecca Ferguson likewise last year with "Backtrack".

Realisically they'd probably be like: A massive hit single with 'You Bring Me Joy', 2 further top 40 singles, performing on stage to thousands of people, over a million combined Youtube views etc.

I've just realised that Janet has released her album before both Amelia and Misha despite Janet being the only one without a proper recording contract!

They'll bring out the YouTube numbers again for sure.

Every XF act has played at multiple festivals, even Lucy Spraggan was at T In The Park

 

I do think Amelia/her label have messed up her chances of having a successful album...she's released 3 singles, probably a 4th before the album, then the album will probs have 6 or 7 more songs...i don't see the point really lol

 

Best of luck to her though, shes an amazing singer but going in the wrong direction!

Studio version of "Truth or Dare" as leaked, I think should of been her 2nd single to be honest, You can listen on the link before it isn't on youtube yet.

It's ever so slightly better than Shut Up but I doubt it would've performed any better at all, it sounds like a nice album track.

'Truth Or Dare' sounds pretty good! I'm such a fanboy for Amelia - one of the few that grew to love 'Party Over'. I'm really hoping the album does finally get released.

You're not alone! I've loved all three singles and this is pretty damn good too. So excited to hear the whole album.

It's ridiculous how much better Truth Or Dare is than the other 3 singles! You Bring Me Joy was pretty good, Shut Up was average and Party Over was terrible - one of the worst songs of the year.

Another track called "Blue" has leaked. Nothing special at all, it's pretty boring.
