February 8, 201411 yr I do agree that the music was both not up to scratch and in an entirely wrong genre for her. I don't really know why she went in that direction but it didn't really have anything in the line of personality and certainly wasn't the Amelia seen on the show. Would have liked to have got an album because the songs were *OK* and I did quite like her as a singer/person but meh, she was never going to work out.

February 10, 201411 yr Shame about how badly she flopped in the end. 'You Bring Me Joy' still remains an absolute gem of a song.
February 12, 201411 yr What could they really do with 'Party Over' better? 'Shut Up' was definitely poorly managed but there was nothing they could do to save single #3 I think.
February 12, 201411 yr They probably should've stuck with their original plan to release the second single in November, and then also released the album off the back of it as she probably would have got an X-Factor performance slot. Not that it would have been guaranteed to do her wonders, but it'd have provided her with the best shot.
February 12, 201411 yr I think after YBMJ, they should have released a midtempo ballad type song in November/December with a performance on X-factor then release the album in January 2013. I'm sure it would have done well if they did, especially due to the low competition around that time of year normally. Sad to see the album looks like it's been cancelled. I hope she's managed better in the future, as she has a lot of potential imo. Edited February 12, 201411 yr by Envoirment
February 18, 201411 yr I can't wait to hear new songs. I think she is definitely releasing the right genre of music, I love her material. I would never pick ballads over her sort of music!
March 10, 20187 yr Bit late with this but the album leaked last year, it's currently up on YouTube! (Standard Edition). Definitely a semi-decent pop/rock sounding album! my faves are: The Hills Over and Out Be A Fighter Look Who's Laughing Now
October 14, 20186 yr I wish she got a chance to release this it’s fairly good. Her and Tamera are two X factor stars I always expected would take off it’s a shame neither have. Although Amelia has done good in the theatre world so good for her there :)
September 2, 20195 yr Just come across this again. How did this end up not getting released as an album it could’ve at least went top 15 and pushed for gold back in like 2013. I think once you do a show like CBB or I’m a celeb it’s hard to really come back and be taken seriously when you’re a singer. Even shows like Strictly haven’t done much for Alexandra and Pixies careers as music stars. Walk In My Shoes was a good track as was Truth Or Dare (which sounds very GA!) not surprised to see their writing team done some or if I read it right all of this album.
September 9, 20195 yr She's more interested in moving into acting these days. I would have liked to have seen her music career go on though.
September 9, 20195 yr She's more interested in moving into acting these days. I would have liked to have seen her music career go on though. Hardly surprising that she's moving on as she's recorded two albums that ended up unreleased. Better to focus on musical theatre a la Darius.
