Dappy up to #11 again. That's where he was this time last week I think! :o Qutie impressive that he's fallen 0 places overall in the last 7 days, considering how much he fell in his first week. He'll still have a massive drop in the official charts though. I can see him dropping to #14 or something. But he's not going to drop to #20 like I was thinking was genuinely possible at the beginning of the week.

That's a bit of a pain, just read that on the site, we won't know how far such and such is ahead.

I have Audacity!!!!! I don't use it much, but I have it. :lol: I personally just use it for basic things, like "chopping" up mp3 files, etc. The only reason I ended up with Audacity was because I needed some mp3 editing software, so I found a website which listed loads of them, and then chose the first one on the list (it was in alphabetical order :lol:).

 

Never a good idea to name a program starting with 'z' though... :lol:

 

Fortunately I don't need an MP3 player that does anything more than 'basic things' - I just have a bunch of old vinyl records that I want to rip to MP3.

Maybe there should be an organised campaign to get iTunes to reinstate it?

How irritating, it has been a mess all weekend, thanks for letting us know. It will certainly take a few weeks to resolve.

TBH I wouldn't panic yet...I think it's due to technical issues.

 

If you look at the pop bars on itunes they are all incorrect with songs not selling well having full mini pop bars and songs which are selling well having less of a pop bar(If that makes any sense!?!).

Wow. So that would slightly lessen the top 10 effect (and make there a bit of a top 6 effect). I guess it depends how many people use iTunes on their iPads.

That didn't take very long. I don't care if it is front loaded, I am just relieved to see it so high up.

Haven't been following the thread for the past 24 hours - someone mind explaining why 'Titanium' has risen from 09-05 since I lasted checked? Or is it simply the weekend effect?

 

Alexandra Burke at #20 and #3 (Albums) currently - hard to predict where this'll peak actually. I've just downloaded the 3-track 'EP/Single' - mainly for the breathless mix - would love to see it reach #1, but then again I prefer long-running #1s - so am supporting Gotye too.

Can anyone see if the Elephant remixes have climbed into the Top 1000. The Breathless mix is great but the Sympho Nympho is fire.

Like I expected, Elephant is looking like a contender for #1 but will probably stop short of Gotye (I suspect he still has quite a big lead but with the pop bars fiasco we can't really tell).

 

It's annoying that this actually quite good song from her will miss #1 when 3 absolute MONSTROSITIES got there before. Ah well.

All down to the radio stations! Unfortunately they decide who they playlist by looking at the name of the artist. If the trend continues Alex will always struggle to top the charts whatever she releases, while other artists have it so easy.

How can We're All No One be both an 'Original Mix' and a 'UK Radio Edit'? Bizarre. Hope it can make the top 40 anyway (to become Afrojack's 4th top 40 hit and Steve Aoki's third). Steve Aoki seems to be the king of the flop though, with the exception of 'No Beef' that did far better than expected, so :(
