ugh hate when old songs rise just because they are on shows like DOI,XF&BGT.Just messes up their chart histories!

If they get a new peak maybe but I don't see why them getting a couple more weeks in the chart is so annoying?

i dont mind new songs getting boosts just when songs that are 6 months old and have left the chart it just looks random the songs re-appearing in the top 40 again, in 30 years youll look back and be like whered that come from?!

True, but it's something we'll have to accept! I'm sure there were strange chartruns before the download age too.

 

Yeah its because of the instant availability of songs i suppose!
So many entries in the top 40 this week. Katy Perry, Sean Paul, Labrinth, JLS, You Me At Six, Florence + The Machine, Drake and Olly Murs.
Basically I hate the xFactor for how over exposed Make You Feel My Love became, I despised the song with a passion.

They did play the All About Tonight instrumental virtually every week last year though!

There's been such a massive clearout! Niggas In Paris have fallen a ton and poor Alex is looking at going 3-11 at best! Nearly as bad as Rockstar.
Why is Alexandra Burke's song at number 4 in the download chart when it is number 3 in the overall chart?

Yes, for whatever reason EP sales aren't counted in the download chart. I like that personally as it lets you know how big a difference the EPs make but it doesn't make much sense does it?

Why is Alexandra Burke's song at number 4 in the download chart when it is number 3 in the overall chart?

 

She must have had other methods of download. Physicals? Via her website etc... She must have just scraped top 3 then!

02. Gotye - Somebody That I Used To Know 79.4%

03. Sean Paul - She Dosen't Mind 77.3% (Should 100% Be at least peaking top 2 on iTunes)

04. Labrinth - Last Time 64.5%

05. Nicki Minaj - Starships 64.4%

06. Jls - Proud 51%

 

Proud looking beyond likely to miss the top 3, I can't see it going top 5 on iTunes, especially with the gap. I can see Jls ending up at #4-5 this week.

 

Re Alexandra: It's a shame because Elepahnt has grown on me, and it dosen't help her case with Radio1 when her single is going to plummet straight out of the top 10.
