March 16, 201214 yr Author Swedish House Mafia might gain a top 10 entry by Sunday. There are a few heavy fallers further down the chart GCH have fallen down 17 places, Will.i.am is just above MIA, and for some reason Lloyd is back up 11 places bit of an oddball there :o And LOL at Dappy  Will Young has had a 50% increase on his album already, sees him nicely at #25
March 16, 201214 yr I wonder if Flo Rida & Emeli will overtake Burke by Sunday :o They both ahead on iTunes now. Also wondering if Jay-Z & Kanye will actually make top 10 officially, 3 new songs next week all going top 10 so may be pushed out of iTunes top 10 so if they going to make it officially they need to make it this Sunday. Unless they start climbing up iTunes to at least #7 by Sunday and maybe they could have a chance next week.. Edited March 16, 201214 yr by Karma
March 16, 201214 yr The nos 5-10 are close on itunes so some tracks will fall after the new releases....hopefully Flo rida will again stay at no4 officially - the charts are pretty exciting at the moment imo!!
March 16, 201214 yr Author I wonder if Flo Rida & Emeli will overtake Burke by Sunday :o They both ahead on iTunes now. #6 is looking more likely after David Guetta performs on Graham Norton tonight, it depends what track he is singing, I'm sure Titanium will get a minor boost. Mind you she could fall as low as #7, 2 David Guetta tracks below her on iTunes.
March 16, 201214 yr The longevity of Titanium has been incredible, and i think Turn Me On is looking likely to stick around for a long while too. Without You is 59p now too so thats climbing as well  Good times for Guetta! Edited March 16, 201214 yr by Karma
March 16, 201214 yr Author The longevity of Titanium has been incredible, and i think Turn Me On is looking likely to stick around for a long while too. Without You is 59p now too so thats climbing as well  Good times for Guetta! Without You could push M.I.A out, unless M.I.A. climbs over GCH and will.i.am. Also next week with the 3 new big entries we could be seeing some of the long runners out of the 40, Coldplay [Paradise], Rihanna [WFL] and finally Maroon 5, unless they get plugged somewhere else on TV over the weekend. We need a clearout of the deadwood.
March 16, 201214 yr I still think Alex will be top 4 by the end of the week. And although I havent heard it I would like the SHF song to go top 10 as it's good to have a bit of a clearout
March 16, 201214 yr I hope Alex can hold onto Top 3, they have just played Elephant on R1. I wish she had done more performances this week.
March 16, 201214 yr #6 is looking more likely after David Guetta performs on Graham Norton tonight, it depends what track he is singing, I'm sure Titanium will get a minor boost. Mind you she could fall as low as #7, 2 David Guetta tracks below her on iTunes. Burke is STILL ahead of both Guetta tracks as she has been all week so unless David Guetta actually dies during his performance on Graham Norton (which isn't possible as its already been filmed and we'd know about it) the boost he'll receive from the show won't be astronomical enough to allow him to reverse the deficit he's incurred all week. Burke will NOT be lower than #5 officially, she probably has an evens chance of top 3 still given she started @ #2 in the Tuesday mid update, is only ~ 20% on iTunes Singles Chart and has an EP on the iTunes albums chart. I'd say #3 or #4 for her this week.
March 16, 201214 yr Author Some sales info added to today's update At this stage last week Gotye sales was on 56k, with total sales of 81.4k for the week, probably around 73k - 75k this week. It could be his last week at the top with Katy, Labrinth and JLS releasing this weekend.
March 16, 201214 yr Noel dropped out already? Ouch. Hope Springsteen can hold onto top 5, his drop this week will be disproportionately high because of Mother's Day so hopefully he can stay top 10 next week.
March 16, 201214 yr Brilliant to see Nicki up to #2 today :D Didn't expect to see SHM so high today, they could even challenge to go top 10 this week then (as could Niggas In Paris, two of my favourite songs around at the moment). I think they definitely do have a good chance of getting there at some point anyway be it this week or next. If Charlie Brown can stay at least as high as #25 that'd be great as it'd at least outpeak 'Life In Technicolor ii', hopefully it'll climb a few more places though and maybe go top 20 next week unless it's put back to 99p. And woo for M.I.A. FINALLY showing up, if she drops out again by Sunday I will NOT be pleased. The reason for Lloyd's climb is because it's 59p :P Kiwanuka falling to #3 in the album chart already, at this rate he'll be lucky to even stay top 5 as certain albums below him will benefit from Mother's Day sales :( Why is Emeli registering a week-on-week increase does anyone know? March 16, 201214 yr Wonder how album sales are going this week - 21 did 250k last year id say MWC will be on 70k max and emeli around 50k with the increase. Adele might do 40-45k too!!
March 16, 201214 yr Hopefully Niggas In Paris keeps climbing, would love it to go top 10, and hopefully give Watch The Throne a boost.
March 16, 201214 yr Think Watch the Throne has been given a boost these past few weeks, its back in the top 30?!
