March 20, 201213 yr I don't get the 'least disliked' argument that I've seen pop up a few times recently, who picks up their phone to vote for the most inoffensive song as opposed to the one that stood out to them the most? Pretty sure that Satellite wasn't the least disliked song in the 2010 contest, surely Me & My Guitar or something similarly MOR would be more likely to win that award. Satellite was the most popular song but it had just as many haters. Well, let's say that I use the expression to say that the most accessible and easiest to like usually wins. "Molitva" definitely wasn't the least disliked but had less haters than the fabulous Verka.
March 29, 201213 yr As you know, every rule has an exception..Ukrania was second in 2007 but Balcan countries reacted as ex-russian nationalities. They gave the points each other. Also, Central European countries supported it. Fairytale and Satellite were massive songs. If they werent the winners then anyone would take the Eurovision seriously... Does anyone take Eurovision seriously anyway?
March 30, 201213 yr As much of a joke as Eurovision can be, it would be devestating to see this lose out to Jed(awk)ward!
May 27, 201213 yr It'll peak top 10 on iTunes and top 10/20 officially IF it wins Eurovision. :D Floptastic. Top 75 (something about #49) Top 40 on UK iTunes for 1 or 2 days...  I'd certainly say it's a cut above most of the similar songs around there but it's really not that good, it's certainly nothing special at all! I guess it's grown on you Mark, a la Dandy? :o
May 27, 201213 yr On the poll, I was optimistic and went top 20 for both. It's doing better than I expected already :D I'm so glad, it deserves at least 10 weeks at number 1!
May 27, 201213 yr Euphoria is the song that relates to our kind of music at the moment, therefore it will do well!
May 27, 201213 yr :D  I guess it's grown on you Mark, a la Dandy? :o Not especially. I always quite liked it (and charted it for four weeks) but as I said, I don;t think it's particularly special. However it IS better than most of what is in the chart (a lot of it fairly similar) and I'm quite happy to help get it a bit more exposure in hope of more promotion of more music from eslewehere.
May 27, 201213 yr The more I listen to it the more it sounds like it was made for Buzzjack rather than Eurovision.
May 27, 201213 yr It will likely Peak at 1, 2 or 3, in the UK. However, I do not really like it. It sounds like dozens of other Dance Hits - from the early 1990's. It has all been done before. One day Sweden may give the World a ESC Winner as good, (and long lasting), as 'Waterloo'. Unfortunately - 'Euphoria' is not it.....

May 27, 201213 yr iTunes peak #1 - it's still gaining on fun. :D Official chart - Top 5 (will probably be outsold by fun. by the end of the week, then there's Gary Barlow 'Sing' which is most likely heading for #1)
May 27, 201213 yr Oh no, Mr Barlow will not get it, because his record is not out till tomorrow, and we're still not sure if it's eigible for the main chart.
May 27, 201213 yr How GOOD does this sound, LOUD in the SUN!? It's incredible. INCREDIBLE. I have it on repeat today and its 27 degrees! Its such a summer anthem :w00t:
May 27, 201213 yr I am just excited to see its sitting pretty at #1 on the UK I-tunes charts . Hopefully it will stay there all week
May 27, 201213 yr Radio One has played it at least once: http://comparemyradio.com/artists/Loreen Playlist pls. :cheer:
