It took The Wanted a very long time to reach the top 10 on iTunes with GYC. It will take time for Cher too. Only her fanbase has bought the song, wait till proper promotion (I mean live TV performances) and enough radio kick in, then I'm sure it will do well for her.

So glad Demi is climbing on iTunes! :D

With any luck live TV performances will kill her off completely. If the X Factor performance last year was anything to go buy she's forgotten how to sing.

Who are you kidding? Her :cough: career in the UK wasn't exactly brilliant, was it? Americans won't buy that cheap bubble $hit.

What I need to know is when the real Cher will be back with her Gaga duet to dominate the Hot 100 again.

Yes, I'm sure America won't fall for the charms of that EVIL WITCH Cher Lloyd. After all, they have MUCH classier artists to buy the music of, such as LMFAO and Flo Rida. TO THINK someone actually thought it possible that the Americans would buy the music of that hideous chav Cher Lloyd. Frankly I'm appalled and I hope we haven't offended those poor, classy Americans.

Why not? They buy shit generic music like LMFAO.

I wouldn't call them 'classy', but $her is a big joke here.

If she's such a big joke, then why in under 24 hours of her song being released, did it go top 100 on US iTunes?

Oh well, how many times do I need to explain to people that the likes of Macarena or Ice Ice Baby were BIG number ones but at the same time - embarrassing.

Are you really comparing a perfectly serviceable pop song created by a respected producer to the Mararena?

I'm not comparing to anything... It pisses me off when assumptions are made like "it's a good song because it's charting"

Justin Bieber? Carly Rae Jepsen ??? One Direction anyone????

I wouldn't call "Want U Back" embarassing. If she was releasing "Swagger Jagger", that's a different story, but "Want U Back" is a perfectly fine pop song. Just because Cher Lloyd sings it, everyone thinks it's terrible, all because of her first single. People need to realise, her album sounds nothing like what "Swagger Jagger" sounded like.

cher got a number 1 & number 4 also number 24 in the uk charts and her album has sold over 220k in the uk... is that bad??? why judge an artist with 1 song but her album is so much better, swagger jagger is the worst song on there... i think people forget she came 4th in x factor, I cant believe The saturdays are still going on Also pixie album flop and so will the burke, cher is doing very well...

Thats how she has millions of youtube views, you know f*** alll...

Want u back - number 80 on Canada Itunes with no promo...

Want u back number 90 on USA itunes with no promo..

No-one has mentioned how any song is good because it's charting Mr. Hater.

Coming fourth in the X Factor means nothing. Say hello to Steve Brookstein and Leon Jackson who won the contest and yet are dropped by record label. You need to distinguish that Cher has only released one album which sold 220k. Pixie's debut album is way above that and so was Alexandra Burkes in terms of sale wise so don't start calling others a flop until we see how well Cher Lloyd's second album will do (tbh, I think it'll flop even harder than them two).

Having millions of YouTube views mean nothing. My favourite genre songs have 50million+ views yet hasn't charted so how would you explain that?

I also suggest you to use the edit button rather than triple post before the moderator deals with you ;)

The hate for Cher is ridiculous, I'm fine with people disliking her (it's the same as me not liking LMFAO or Justin Bieber) obviously but labelling her a joke just because Swagger Jagger was questionable is just ridiculous. She's just a normal pop artist, not a joke at all, even if she's not the best live singer or performer. Funny thing is, everyone would wet themselves over half of Cher's songs if Rihanna released them!
