Posted March 20, 201213 yr Im trying to make a weekly music chart instead of doing YTD, but it just doesn't scribble some songs, and over scrobbles others and I just can't get an accurate representation of my chart. Any ideas why?
March 20, 201213 yr I only have problems with lastfm in relation to my iTunes, but that's iTunes failing and not lastfm's. Have you tried the FAQs?
March 20, 201213 yr Most likely you're just doing something wrong. Like you ticked off the songs that you want to scrobble in your iTunes when syncing iPod. Minor problems occur for me too but they are usually just a couple of songs not scrobbling off my ipod. Not that big a deal.
March 20, 201213 yr If it's an iPod you're having trouble scrobbling with, there's an AMAZING app called 'CloudScrob' that I use. It's 69p but well worth it - you just open it and it scrobbles any song you've played since the last time you opened the app. Total lifesaver. And as it's fine for me scrobbling from iTunes/Spotify to Last.fm, pretty much all my plays are totted up (saying that I just started using it the other day after having an account for ages, my most played artist is Loreen with 12 plays then Miranda Lambert with 8 :lol:)!
March 20, 201213 yr Author Yeah I've just realised its my iPod not scrobbling. Makes all the difference as I spend so much time in the car and on the bus, thats when most of my music is played. Cheers Liam!
March 20, 201213 yr I've not had many problems with last.fm. My Scrobbler detects any iPod scrobbles as soon as I plug it in (normally, sometimes this doesn't happen but it will within the next few days - no plays are lost). It never seems to scrobble any songs from there less than a day old, if I listen to them when it's not plugged in to the computer (cause I normally listen through my iPod on iTunes). Sometimes it just doesn't scrobble at all, which is weird. The songs aren't even detected by last.fm when I'm playing them on iTunes...
March 20, 201213 yr Author I've just checked, I can't get CloudScrob because I only have the classic but its pissing me off as my iPod isn't being recognised by last fm at all and I can't find out how to do it. Piece of shit :(
March 20, 201213 yr Author SORTED IT. Downloaded the beta version. THe trouble with me is Im too indie to let myself get a touch, so I need a classic because its just so cool and hip. Im joking, but still, I would go with a classic over a touch any day, but they just don't have the little things such as apps :(
March 20, 201213 yr Whenever I try and download the scrobbler it never seems to work :( I download it and when I click 'run' it just freezes :( Anyone know why?
