If I knew there would be at least ONE, let alone TWENTY FIVE, person considering the song I want to send, I would instantly move on to something else.

This month is clearly in nobody's favour as everyone seems to be fighting for the same tracks :drama:

There were lots of people after Carly Rae Jepsen in BJSC 41 I think - there is usually one track in nearly every contest that quite a few people want! It seems this one has more tracks that everyone wants than usual! :lol:

I'm actually pretty sure no one will be sending the track I want to send :P that said, I'm very unsure this will get through to the final :(

OK, I've decided upon my entry now and it's one that I'm relatively sure nobody's after it.

I think people are talking more about which tracks they are going to send, leading to more people finding out that they're planning to send the same track, leading to moar chaos. It's not normally this bad.

 

But it's fun on the sidelines, with my track that's gonna be a discovery to everyone. ^_^ I haven't yet been involved in a confirmation battle, I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or not.

I've been involved in 1 confirmation battle so far (Carly) and I was incredibly lucky to get it! And I am 99.9% sure I'll be in another one this evening - but as long as the song gets entered by me (hopefully) or someone else (I bet there's probably quite a few) I'll be supporting it! :D

It's quite bad, but I think Carly was just as bad too. I can remember PMing Eyes for an opinion on Call Me Maybe saying it was my potential entry and it turned out he wanted it too! (It turned out well in the end with Nightwish though). I also PMed LexC who had been considering it too! Plus a couple of others had said on the forum they were interested also!

 

But Carly was #1 on Canada iTunes at the time which probably meant it wasn't so surprising - but Kerli definitely is a surprise! I don't know how everyone else discovered it, but I was watching the Call Me Maybe video a few days ago (coincidence I know!) and saw Zero Gravity being advertised down the side of the page! :D

 

Saying that, I will not confirm which song I will try and confirm (no pun intended :kink:) when it opens! :)

Are people wanting to send this Kerli track because they think it's going to win rather than they really like the song?

 

If there's an overhyped track I'm aware of but don't like there's no way I'd enter it just to grab a potential win. I'd rather win BJSC with a song I really like (the only time I entered a song because I thought it'd do well, I DNQ'd and it served me right!!! :lol: )
