Seeing as On Your Radar has flopped, The Saturdays are releasing yet another BRAND NEW single (rumoured to be for a re-release but we don't know anything for sure yet) which premiered on Friday and is released May 14.

 

 

Personally I absolutely love it, it's like All Fired Up crossed with fan favourite Faster imo - and I've been hammering it for the past few days :wub: I don't think it will get them that long awaited number 1 though, the release is probably a bit too far away - but I do predict another 2-5 peak for them which is good! Really hope that somehow what is seemingly chart law they can't have a number 1 is broken, but I really won't hold my breath - something always goes wrong.... Flo Rida is probably due a new single that week :drama:

I think we'll see a Notorious style run at best, which is considerably more than it deserves. Easily their worst single yet, doesn't even come close to many of the album tracks from Chasing Lights and Wordshaker, what a crying shame they've gotten this desperate.

Personally I LOVE this it's fresh summery and a perfect 'Pop' track.

 

I don't see it going to number 1 but will match All Fired Up and go top 3 with a Sats style chart run.

It doesn't deserve to flop, but it's just not that good..

I think since 'All Fired Up' I've just given up on the idea of them ever having a number 1 now...shame especially when there's been singles of theirs in the past that have come so close but it does diminish your faith the more time ticks on...it is a wicked song though, very summer-y sounding and I imagine they'll return to the top 10, maybe top 5 with this - can't wait to see the video!

I think this is actually their best single yet. I'm not a Sats fan AT ALL but I really quite like this - a few dodgy/predictable lyrics aside.

 

I wonder if '30 Days' will be their first #1. I think this is definitely the time they really need one most. Maybe the publicity surrounding Frankie will help. They'd need Radio 1 and Capital support, music channels hammering the video all the time and brilliant promo to be in with a chance though.

Where I think: 2-5, I don't need to hear it to know that :kink:

 

That said, having heard this, this is surprisingly good :o One of the best things I've heard from them for sure!

Probably top 5, but I think it's naff so wouldn't mind never seeing it in the top 100.

Exactly! Ego, Up and Higher are some of their best selling singles and they all have a similar enough sound, so it would be normal to release something along the lines of them! But I can see them coming up with something better for the 2nd single (as they always do!)

True. Chris Brown just went to #1 with one of his worst singles yet, Katy Perry has went to #1 with her three worst singles, Jason Derulo's two #1's weren't his best material etc but we have to remember this is The Saturdays. They'll never get a #1.

I totally agree with you!! Your examples explain my thoughts (Especially the occasion of Chris Brown and Katy Perry). California Gurls and I Kissed The Girl are not her best songs but they were No.1 in U.k. In occassion of Jason Derulo, i think that "In My Head" deserved to be No.1. The Saturdays are the best pop female girl band from Britain for the time being and it's not difficult to achieve something like that. They need to promote it with a good videoclip and many appearances on T.v shows. Cover Drive without a fan base like The Saturdays managed to have No.1 with Twilight. They have a chance..

It might chart well cause they got to number 14 on albums chart with the pre order <3
