Nice to hear on the radio but not something I'd listen to a whole album of.

Travis are an amzing band. I love all of their singles and my mum loves them too as she has all of their albums. My favourite song by them though has to be Flowers In The Window as it's such a beautiful and effortless song. :wub:

#01 Sex On Fire - it's been overplayed to death but what a great song - my favourite from them

#02 Use Somebody - this is good too, SOF is much much better however

#29 Revelry - very average KOL. It's OK but not amazing.

Tuning into this, looking forward to the inevitable appearance somewhere of my all time favourite album that isn't by Delta Goodrem :D

Only By The Night is a great album - Sex On Fire and Use Somebody are classics if just a LITTLE bit overplayed :kink: Revelry and Notion are great too but quite poor single choices, the likes of 'Crawl' and 'Closer' would have been a bit better. It was a mystery that 'Notion' managed to completely miss the top 100, the album had sold quite a lot by the time of its release of course but to compare, Adele could at least get to #85 with 'Rumour Has It'.

Sex on Fire will remain a classic till the end of time! However, I love Scissor Sisters' Laura much more! Great tune! :wub:

I love the two big KOL singles, not even killed by overplay, but they've never done anything anywhere near as good imo!

 

Never been keen on Scissor Sisters, I only like Laura and Take Your Mama of their debut album's singles.

#10 Comfortably Numb - :wub: love this a lot. Much better than Pink Floyd's (bland, imo) original

#17 Take Your Mamma - only 17 :o it felt much bigger than that. Very good

#12 Laura - another amazing one from them. 2004 was their best era!

#14 Mary - didn't like this that much, still OK

#05 Filthy/Gorgeous - good song but doesn't deserve to be their highest peaker from the era

I do like Scissor Sisters' version of 'Comfortably Numb' - I didn't know it was a cover at the time :blush: Filthy / Gorgeous, Laura and Take Your Mama are good as well, not too keen on 'Mary' though. Much better on the whole than the singles from the second album, but the third provided their best single to date in the form of Fire With Fire :wub:

U2 are very average, my favourite single from them was "Vertigo" which came much later
