Still though, the song itself passed over 400,000 which is an achivement tbh.

I agree! And it also spent two weeks at #1, not what I could call frontloaded.

I'm team Justin this week, although Carly can stay at #1 aswell. Both are great songs. Hope Sway can keep climbing aswell.

Is Santigold anywhere in the top 1000 yet?

Yeah. They weren't saying it wasn't a big hit though, we all know that song was huge. They were just saying it was frontloaded, which is true. Lots of massive hits are frontloaded. On the Floor, Grenade, Only Girl, Forget You, Written in the Stars, California Gurls, Beat Again, Bad Boys, Pass Out, The Climb, When We Collide, Fight For This Love, and so on.

I would love Primadonna to get to #1, but if it challenges the top 10 that will be fine with me

It's one of her weakest singles to date, but will probably end up being her biggest as per usual :(

Starships  #3

She Doesn't Mind  #4

Climax  #18

Plan B held up really well after catapulting to #20. It's now down to #25 though :(

Mercy @ #42 - If this could somehow get top 40 next week

If Carly and Justin stay top 2, this is gonna be the best top 2 of the whole year, and possibly in a long while.
why is TTYLXOX or something to dance for not on the the first page?

WTF is that?

I'm Team Usher this week!!

That Justin Bieber song is absolutely horrendous and there is no other song that is worthy to hold off the almighty 'Climax'. Gonna buy it now.

Im Team Bieber/Carly this week! :) Just brought bieber's song

But only girl increased in its second week though.

Wow I would love The Man Who Cant Be Moved to go top 10 :o who would ever think that could happen years after! Dont think it will though.. being #11 is so great though!

Sway & Usher should go top 10 I think, maybe not Sway but Usher sure is going there :)

The screaming girlies have been set free on Itunes......Beiber is shit!

* Bieber -_-

The pop bars are back on Kworb! Bieber at 0.8000 now, and in light green. Nicki at #3 is on 0.4625.

These pop bar things being rounded is a right pain, Kworb is no use at the moment. :/

It has nothing to do with Kworb or Livepopbars. iTunes decided to round up or down the pop bars to the nearest 0.05. Both Kworb and Livepopbars use these data. They can't do anything against it.

Kworb is now only estimating the bars, there are no exact figures anymore (only if Apple changes back the pop bars to the old format).

But only girl increased in its second week though.

Number 1 by Tinchy Stryder also increased in sales in its 2nd week. But both were frontloaded imo.

Explain me the logic of this :D

They were held back and started off with high sales which gradually got lower over time. I wouldn't say Only Girl was frontloaded in the US, but in the UK it was.

Don't all songs' sales gradually get lower over time?

Is "frontloaded" going to become the new "non-number 1"?

I don't think so. Because there's lots and lots of frontloaded songs which don't reach #1 (I think it's very likely that Sway and Usher's songs will be frotnloaded, and they're not going to be #1). And there's lots of frontloaded #1s, which are absolutely massive (Pass Out, Only Girl, basically all the ones I mentioned above), so I wouldn't consider them "non-#1s". They're just frontloaded.

Yeah. Something like Somebody That I Used to Know I wouldn't say is frontloaded, since it peaked in sales a few weeks into its chart run and stayed consistently near its peak for a while. California Gurls peaked on its very first week and never came within 20,000 of it's peak ever again I think.
