I'm pretty sure the CMM EP was £1.99 last week, but it appears to be £0.99 now. Did they reduce it?

I really don't want JB to get #1. I don't have a problem with him but I can't help but laugh when I hear the verses to the song!! He is surely not taking himself seriously is he?

Katy P  #9

Sway  #14

Labrinth  #20

Yeah, my point is very much weakened by the mentions of fondue and Buzz Lightyear. The "swaggy" bit makes me want to punch him in the face.

I hope it does.

I wish I could come back with an argument but you are most probably right :(

All I can say is 'Never Say Never' :P

Errrrr, It's still £1.99.

I wish people weren't so quick to judge Justin Bieber, just because it's Justin Bieber. 'Boyfriend' is a fantastic song and deserves to do well! I'm definitely team Justin this week! I just think people shouldn't judge just because it's his song and should give the song a listen before they have any right to judge. I could have guessed this would be the reaction from people before 'Boyfriend' even premiered.

Right On B-)

I wish there were more people like you in this world ^_^

Here's hoping Biebers sucess is down to the fangirls preordering and waiting up til midnight and it peaks and stalls before it hits the top 5

dont forget boys too :P

BTW in case anyone was wondering, Bieber's 'Baby' at ~402.5k (to 6/8/11) is by far his highest-selling UK song, so far...

I was :)

Buzz Lightyear is ok. The rest just no, please no

He's turned into such a G now though. He just oozes swag!! #thuglife

Good. I was hoping that'd happen.

It's also possible though that his target audience has just gone to bed and he'll start increasing again during the day tomorrow. Thta did happen with Baby.

 13. Level Up (Radio Edit) - Sway

Get in that top 10! I need to download this so I might as well strategically hold back my purchase to best aid it in going top 10

If Justin gets to #1, would it be the first time the UK had back-to-back Canadian #1s? And also, the first year with 3 Canadians to reach the top 3? That'd be pretty cool! I always think Canada is pretty underrated in the music world.

When was the last time in the Uk Charts that there was a Canadian top 2?

When was the last time in the Uk Charts that there was a Canadian top 2?

I don't think it has ever happened before

Carly wasn't number one by this time last week either, though.

True - but the was no reason to expect Carly's sales to be front-loaded, and *every* reason for Bieber's to be...

I am glad that Usher is doing well, the song is good.

Oh and I'm happy Carly is still number 1, it is far better than Bieber's effort.

Is it note worthy to say that there isn't one British artist in the top ten? And yes, as said a Candanian Top 2 is pretty special.

I don't agree with the acts you're talking about but I do definitely agree that Canadian music is underrated. So many good alternative acts come from Canada.

'Boyfriend' is bearable by Justin's standards, but I'd still rather it didn't get #1. Carly to stay there! :cheer:

Also I have a massive amount of hatred for The Script's TMWCBM, always did. :puke2: I'd rather it was 'Breakeven' at least...
