He was supposedly the very last one (bit convienient if you ask me, seeing as he happened to fill the last slot!) and Jessie loved him so much he had timeto fill so sang another I guess. Not really fair though, it hyped him RIGHT up. Potential winner right there I think, overrated though imo.

No, they're fairly similar. Maxwell's is a bit more soulful but they're actually not too dissimilar. I'm not keen on Maxwell's version, probably because I hold the original so close to my heart as one of my favourite songs of all time :wub:

Maybe Ordinary People could do an Iris and peak at number one on iTunes but miss out officially, but CMM has such a huge lead that I don't think it will happen.

I hope Kate overtakes Maxwell's version. Was pissed she said his name instead of Kate's lol.

Didn't expect to see John Legend at #3 on iTunes ever! Even after the mass exposure on The Voice, I expected a #21-40 entry, similar to 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved'. If they were to reduce it to 59p, it wouldn't surprise me to see it jump to #1 on iTunes + perhaps grab it officially - oh the joys of reality TV and its effect on the chart.

 

Had no idea before now that will.i.am co-wrote the track with Legend, so him crying and telling the story behind it may have prompted fans of the song to see it in a different light. The Voice 1 - 0 BGT.
