April 23, 201213 yr It's only fallen that far because of there being a ton of new albums being released for RSD, it'll be right near the top again next week. Back in the top 10, yes, but I don't see it ever topping except in a very slow week. Adele's fanbase will be mainly iTunes folks or ASDA shoppers.

April 23, 201213 yr It was a slow enough week last week for it to be #2. I think it's only a matter of time before it sneaks a week at #1.
April 23, 201213 yr A look at the next few weeks to see who will beat Adele Released today - Jack White definitely. Possibly Rufus Wainwright, Santigold 30 April - Marina & The Diamonds. Possibly Mystery Jets. 7 May - Damon Albarn, Richard Hawley, Keane, The Cribs. Possibly The Heartbreaks (fingers crossed) 14 May - not sure yet.
April 30, 201213 yr Adele only climbed up to 11 yesterday. I really don't think she will ever hit the number 1 here you know. http://www.officialcharts.com/record-store-albums-chart/
April 30, 201213 yr They must calculate this all the way down to #200 if The Maccabees are showing up as a climber from 129 rather than just a new entry. Is anything available to the public outside the top 40? (I dread to think what your average #200 Record Store album sells :P) I see as well that 'leaked' copies were enough to chart Jack White and Santigold in the top 100 last week! That gives you an idea of how low the #200 must sell!
April 30, 201213 yr I did say I could've sworn I saw Jack White being displayed prominently on the Friday!
May 1, 201213 yr I see as well that 'leaked' copies were enough to chart Jack White and Santigold in the top 100 last week! Weren't some of these available for record shop day?
May 11, 201213 yr '21' back up to #10 now and '19' shows up at #40 :P 'Electra Heart' starts at #16, I imagine her debut would have done better in this had this chart existed when it came out. No multiple week #1s yet, just Alabama Shakes then Spiritualized then Jack White and now Mystery Jets. Edited May 11, 201213 yr by B.r.É
May 11, 201213 yr Up to 10, yes, but for it to reach #1 in a slow week it should really be hitting #2 or #3! :P Loving this chart though - my current faves Lower Dens straight in at number 15.
