September 28, 201212 yr Wildcard twist confirmed for first live show: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...live-shows.html Surely its only a 'twist' if its something new. They've done this already. Desperate.
September 29, 201212 yr Surely its only a 'twist' if its something new. They've done this already. Desperate. That's better than having 16 acts and dumping 4 on the first live show after the Amelia shambles last year, with a dozen commercial breaks, but only 1 wild card act is going thru to the live shows.
September 29, 201212 yr The whole of X Factor 2011 was a shambles though. It was like they'd forgotton to write a script and were making it up as they went along which created more flaws than it really should've. I'm glad Little Mix rose above it all and returned with one of the finest pop singles I've heard in a long time from an X Factor winner. It was long overdue - doesn't bode well for the 2012 winner (two successful winners back to back has yet to happen).

I agree. It's a much better way of handling the wildcards. One judge will have an extra contestant the week after then, unless one of theirs if eliminated first.

Hmmmm! I concede - it is slightly different. Only a half-act of desperation then.
September 29, 201212 yr Just by looking at those spoilers without giving anything away, all I can say the groups and the boys are actually awful this year, the girls not so sure yet, but I think the winner is coming from the Overs category, unless the public vote wil throw a spanner in the works.

September 29, 201212 yr Nice to see Louis spend more money this year to travel to Las Vegas instead of Ireland, while Gary is stuck in Great Britain. Good start.
