April 21, 201213 yr That's the point most people are making though, if it's faceless/generic dance pop they want they could easily find it elsewhere, wheras they expect more from Madonna. I'm quite content for her to pump out faceless stuff, providing that's not all she's putting out - which is where MDNA wins.

Totally disagree for two reasons - one, the 'if it was anyone else' argument is irrelevant because it's not, it's Madonna, and we've become accustomed to her releasing pop songs which are ahead of the game instead of chasing trends and sound unique to her, and two, if Shakira or Nelly Furtado or Gwen Stefani or Britney or just about any other major popstar sang Girl Gone Wild it would still suck because it's a terrible song! :D
April 21, 201213 yr Everything she released inbetween Beautiful Stranger and Hung Up was crap! Cherish is one of the most joyous pop songs ever. Celebration (the song) is absolutely amazing, the Benny Benassi remix however was a complete bore.
