i knew about the most consumed record of the week but i didnt know it was based on physical sales only , thank you , but also does that mean that for example TIC is the most sold record of the week so the streams for the songs will count for both TIC and their respective albums , isn't that double counting?

i wish there was a place were all the OCC rules were explained.

btw do you know what is the youtube streams ratio in the UK ,i know the US gave more value to audio streams but i want to know what about the UK because her recurrent stats are on an all time high with 2.5m daily views acording to kworb and i want to know how much those stats help her catalog.

It’s a shame that we have so many legendary artists who are under-certified because much of their sales pre 1994 aren’t recognised.

It was 4th on her most streamed list in September 2023, compared to 8th and 9th for 'Like a Virgin' and 'Into the Groove'. It also had higher post 1994 sales in August 2019 (217k for 'Holiday', 197k f

Yeah, they get double counted. Video and audio streams are counted at the same rate: ad-funded streams are counted at a radio of 1:600 and premium streams are counted at a rate of 1:100 (1:1200 and 1:200 when on ACR).

thank you :D also one last question , do live performances from her youtube account counts towards a song total or in the case of a tour upload like "Vogue" for example to their respective tour official releases only (SST/ IGTTYAS/MDNAtour)? also does it depends if its tagged as "music" or not?

also from what i know the ACR rule only decreases the stats that will be used in the singles charts , not the total consumption so she has nothing to lose from that lol.

Presumably all tour videos count toward the respective song, just like a bought live audio would count as a sale toward its respective song. I guess a stream of tour video would count toward its respective tour album but I'm not really that sure.

Yes you're right, ACR does only affect the singles chart rather than song totals.

I really hope 'Madame X' can go Silver sometime soon. A masterpiece, truly a masterpiece

TIC fell out the Top 100 by the Tuesday midweek and placed #120 officially.

2020 chart run:

RE: 168-183-173-174 (fifty first entry: 27/02/20) 4w

RE: 175-168-133-100-125-120 (fifty second entry: 02/04/20) 6w

It's currently placed at #81 on the Album Download Chart with ~100 downloads (#100 managed 81 downloads). It sold 1,075 overall, so just under 1k is coming from streams (assuming physicals are close to 0 at this point).

Perhaps benefiting from the recent surge of Bedtime Stories and the release of the 'I Don't Search I Find' remixes, TIC has now entered the Top 10 on iTunes, so could be looking at a nice boost on the chart this week if it can remain stable.

TIC currently has a peak of #21 on the Album Download Chart. Its full chart run:

oh but when did you get that TIC was #49?

Chart mods have another source sent to us.

Is a top 100 re-entry looking likely for tomorrow?

It is! It has moved down the updates during the week but Top 100 is on lock.
