June 17, 20187 yr Author Yeah that is strange, especially as we know the album was Top 100 on iTunes. Do you have a complete run for Celebration?
July 3, 20187 yr Here we go! Better late than never  http://i61.tinypic.com/2q3tawm.jpg http://i61.tinypic.com/wr1chh.jpg Celebration NE: 01-02-02-03-14-25-26-31-49-55-50-34-40-39-71-92-60-67-80-79-46-69-82-114-106-116-101-104-98-91-93-15-20-38-55-63-72- -91-111-136-171-183 (first entry: 03/10/09) 42w RE: 120-38-92-120-135-99-113-119-124-134-126-129-145 (second entry: 28/08/10) 13w RE: 181-111-118-111-132 (third entry: 01/01/11) 5w RE: 180 (fourth entry: 12/02/11) 1w RE: 184-127-178 (fifth entry: 14/01/12) 3w RE: 152-96-108-98-71-51-35-37-60-69-87-117-111-108-103-117-121-143-125-142-187-183-171-107-145 (sixth entry: 18/02/12) 25w RE: 198-147-156-161-168 (seventh entry: 12/01/13) 5w RE: 188 (eighth entry: 18/01/14) 1w RE: 130-38-38-27-31-45-49-63-75-92-141 (ninth entry: 28/02/15) 11w RE: 112-151 (tenth entry: 08/09/16) 2w RE: 109 (eleventh entry: 25/01/18) 1w RE: 187-194 (twelfth entry: 01/03/18) 2w RE: 190-184-198-197 (thirteenth entry: 05/04/18) 4w RE: 197-173-175-175-177 (fourteenth entry: 17/05/18) 5w RE: 174- (fifteenth entry: 07/07/18) 1w Total: 121w Sales: 636,367 Certification: 2x Platinum Best Sellers List: 40th (Albums in 2009), 117th (Albums in 2010)
July 9, 20187 yr Author Don't suppose you have the completed chart run for The Immaculate Collection too, Jay? Apparently it's spent over 700 weeks in the Top 200 and I'm short of that.
July 29, 20187 yr Author NEW BPI CERTIFICATION! '4 Minutes' has been certified Platinum for sales of 600k! :cheer: That's her second Platinum single, following 'Hung Up', although eight singles in total have sold over 600k. Last known sales were 575k from January 2018, so the song has sold/streamed 25k this year.
July 30, 20187 yr I managed to find out a couple of positions that were missing in 1995, and in 2008 a week at #198 was typo'd as #98. ChartsPlus says Immaculate Collection is on 712 weeks as of this week (it's at #121 this week). 127 weeks of these weeks occurred pre-1994 (all of these positions are included in the chart run on the first page), while 585 weeks are from 1994 to the present date. It seems that we only have 535 of those weeks included in this thread (amongst the chart run on the first page, the amendments below & the new positions below). The re-entry at #187 in Feb ‘16 was the 701st week in the chart, according to ChartsPlus. In a January 2010 issue they stated it had spent 700 weeks in the chart, so at least we know for sure that it saw no chart action from 2010 until early 2016. (In fact it didn’t chart at all from 06/09/08 to 04/02/16). ~ 1995 amendments: RE: 41-42-51-59-76-130 (entry: 07/01/95) 6w RE: 168-79-54-56-62-54-66-76-71-80-111-149 (entry: 15/04/95) 12w RE: 159-85-64-70-73-96-137-150 (entry: 15/07/95) 8w ~ RE: 198-176 (entry: 23/08/08) 2w RE: 187-178 (entry: 11/02/16) 2w RE: 183 (entry: 23/06/16) 1w RE: 196 (entry: 27/07/17) 1w RE: 197 (entry: 10/08/17) 1w RE: 106-131 (entry: 05/10/17) 2w RE: 170 (entry: 14/06/18) 1w RE: 140-137-125-121- (entry: 12/07/18) 4w Total: 712w Sales: 3,700,000 Certification: 12x Platinum
August 24, 20187 yr Author Celebration up to #59! #44 on downloads and #48 on streaming... no sign on the sales-only chart. Seems strange that Madonna should benefit from streaming! I guess the This Is Madonna playlist on Spotify helped out, even though none of the tracks appeared in the Top 200 Spotify chart on her birthday.
September 24, 20186 yr Author Music Week has revealed 'The Power of Goodbye' has sold 204,659 copies to date. Was certified Silver at the beginning of May so is averaging 200 to 250 copies a week, including streams.
November 2, 20186 yr #92 - Music (1,358 sales) [1,336 physicals / 1 download / 21 streaming] #94 - Erotica (1,352 sales) [1,352 physicals] Music total - 1,631,840 Erotica total (since 1994) - 127,124
November 2, 20186 yr Author Poor Erotica with no streams. :( would have thought both albums would have had a few more downloads, not into triple figures but maybe like 50 odd.
November 4, 20186 yr Author In regards to the total sales for Erotica, it sold an estimate 405k in 1992 and an estimated 95k in 1993, so 627k in total.
