M!key, all four of Keane's previous albums (well, three and an EP) have gone straight to #1, why are you so doubtful of the success of Strangeland? I think they have #1 pretty much in the bag although I suppose Richard and Damon being on Jools Holland *could* provide challenge for them (but they'll still be #3 at the very worst even so).

Surely Keane are a certain #1 album? Sure, they haven't had a hit from this yet but nor did the Night Train EP, I think they are lucky to be out on a quiet album week in a time where sales are low though!

I just feel Keane have lost their way a bit, I just feel Strangeland is going to miss the top 3 somehow, I wasn't really keen on their first lead single from the new album. I could be wrong though.

I have quite a lot of Beastie Boys songs on my mp3 player, but I don't listen to them that much tbh. Just when the come up on shuffle.

My most played Beastie Boys song is apparently a Donkey Kong remix of Hey f*** You. :drama:

Possible chance that (You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party) be featured on BGT tonight as they'll probably show the Zimmers who performed it at the audition stages and we'll find if they go through

David Julian has fantastic song choices on The Voice - first 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved', then 'Dakota'and now 'Sweet Disposition' - the former two have re-entered the top 40 so here's hoping for three out of three :D

Running Up That Hill for number 1
Running Up That Hill for number 1

The Placebo version is like the best song ever... even thogh I DO like Kate bush.

Running Up That Hill for number 1

*Sweet Disposition.

(Running Up That Hill can do well too though - and Paradise for top 40 return please :P)

It was sang in the Placebo kind of way?

64. Free Fallin' - Tom Petty

:o It was an amazing performance but didn't expect this to make much of an impact!

No others top 100 yet.

EDIT: Apart from, of course, Paradise which is #63. But that was there already.

It wasn't really like either Kate Bush or Placebo, but it was more towards the Placebo version with a few tweaks I think.

Here's hoping to see The Temper Trap back in the top 40, 'Sweet Disposition' is one of my favourite songs - and David did it justice. Really impressed with Bo's version of 'Running Up That Hill' and Cassius' 'Paradise', so wouldn't mind the both of them shooting up iTunes too.

The Voice in the top 100:

31. Sweet Disposition - The Temper Trap

46. Paradise - Coldplay

58. Free Fallin' - Tom Petty

THE TEMPER TRAP    Top 40 re-entry looks very likely, thank you again David!

What I like about the Voice its putting Indie and Rock back in the charts which is a good thing, but they seem to be old tracks. Its nice seeing Free Fallin' back in the charts, I hope Kate Bush appears at some point. I think Sweet Disposition has got potential to chart very high, I've the seen the track been used on Center Parcs commercial in the past few weeks as well.

Update:

 23. Sweet Disposition - The Temper Trap :cheer:

 42. Paradise - Coldplay :D

 45. Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) - Kate Bush :D (Calm down Liam :kink:)

 53. Free Fallin' - Tom Petty

 93. Sweet Disposition - The Temper Trap :cheer:  [2]

double post (been a while since that's happened to me :drama:)

I agree that The Voice is giving some MUCH NEEDED variety to the charts now. I just wish it'd been airing since 2008.

OMFG YES.

Tbf I'm being a bit greedy :P Kate has already had This Woman's Work boosted by BGT the other week  She's so amazing though she deserves it all!
