Producers are trying to get the 'Hung Up' singer on an upcoming Sunday night results show in a bid to attract record ratings, the Daily Star Sunday reports. "Getting Madge on to sing is bound to pull in the viewers. You don't get much bigger than her - she's a living legend," a source told the paper. "The show has regularly been getting ratings of over ten million. Having Madonna, plus the all-important results, could push it past the 12 million mark. "X Factor's finest hour was getting Britney Spears on - but there's no doubt Madonna is a much bigger name. Simon Cowell will be furious if The Voice upstages him with a massive guest performer like Madonna in its first series." Lana Del Rey will perform on tonight's results show (April 29), while Emeli Sandé will sing next weekend. Madonna recently claimed her 9th UK number one album with her latest release MDNA. I know it's probably bullshit, but I thought I'd share the story anyway. It'd be amazing promo, I'm sure she'd get a hit out of it. I can't see her singing the obvious hit Masterpiece though, if she performs within the next month though it could easily conincide with the physical release of Girls Gone Wild? I'm not sure she'd even do the show though to be honest.

April 29, 201213 yr Nah, it won't happen. Even if she wasn't gearing up for the tour she hasn't done a big UK live show like this since Children In Need way back in 05 (I'm not counting Radio 1's Big Weekend as that was just a televised live show). It really would be a great move though, I doubt all that many people KNOW about MDNA, I know that's a boring fan excuse but given the less than stellar success of the singles it seems logical.
