I dont think comparing them to Girls Aloud does anything for the Saturdays, Girls Aloud were in a very different league, yes some of the singles may have had similar chart runs and sales but the Girls Aloud singles that sold came from platnum+ selling albums.

Just back from the show in Thurles. Really enjoyed it and they did do issues and MHTO. Was a really cute moment when someone threw a Tipperary flag up on stage and all girls took a go waving it around. Think it was Frankie who spun around with the flag and in the middle of the song Rochelle turns and says "can you stop making me laugh when I'm trying to sing" :) The only negative I would have to say was there dancing. It is just beyond cheesy at times and when they finally do a rountie like the new one for work that looks some bit more professional they are just not in sync with each other but overall very enjoyable concert :)
Theyre having a very similar chart run pattern as girls aloud!

Biology - All fired up. Both didnt spend very long in the top 100 but sold a lot.

Straight after Girls aloud realeased see the day and the sats released my heart takes over. Both of them freefalled very quickly and none of them reached 100,000 in sales.

Girls aloud released Whole lotta history which only spent 5 weeks in the top 100. The sats seem to be going the same way with 30 days. Back to back single fails for both of them. :(

If this continues, theyre next single should be VERY successful as girls aloud released something kinda ooh and till this day, its one of their signature songs :)

And assuming their method of their second single being their better one, this should be v. successful! :)

Just watched all of their performances from Birmingham Pride and tbh I'm full of pride. Their performances were all full of enery and were FANTASTIC, and I would have LOVED to have been there, it's amazing how much of a reaction they get.

Also the fans sounded FANTASTIC at Birmingham Pride. It's such a shame how at times their underlooked, anyway roll on USA, Single 2 and hopefully their most succesfull campaign!

iTunes

57. 30 Days

Also their on Alan Carr's show on Friday!

EXACTLY! :cheer:

The fourth week position is going to be dire! :drama: #68 on iTunes at the moment.
This is off topic but tonight's hour long Eastenders episode played both Notorious and Just Can't Get Enough :) Although the segment of Notorious was the part from just after Mollie's introduction and ended just after Rochelle's line "don't hold back" haha :)

#76 on iTunes, their on Alan Carr on Friday, I wonder if they perform 30 Days?

I thought they were supposed to be in America?

I thought they were supposed to be in America?

The Thurles gig was booked a while ago, so that was always going to happen before that. Besides, some user of other forum who claims to be friend with someone close to them (yeah, I know) says they'll be moving to the US in September, and they'll be doing gigs and recording the album this summer.

"Sigh" I would much rather they focused on America rather than a new album tbh

I can't wait for them to come to the USA, hopefully this means i'll finally get the chance to see them live!
Been on Alan Carr twice and didin't perform 30days!

Thats why I think 30Days was all about "another top ten" and not about units sold or chart run...

ALSO, 30 Days dropped from 19-73 on the Airplay last week. OUCH!

My Heart Takes Over spent 3 weeks in the top 100, and 30 Days looks like it'll spend about 6 at the most. All Fired Up and Notorious didn't last long either.

I don't understand why they didn't release a single after On Your Radar was released. Issues, Ego and Higher all went top ten, lasted in the charts for a few months and sold loads (much more than the held back releases) so you'd have thought they would have at least released a fourth single from the OYR campaign. I bet White Lies/Faster would have got them a top ten single anyway AND boosted album sales a bit. 30 Days has done only achieved them another top ten position, without the sales or longevity (or critical acclaim).
