I'm thinking anywhere between #6-#9 maybe officially by Sunday. The signing in Glasgow won't help much today I don't think and they don't have any promo until Friday and Saturday, and naturally they'll fall now the hardcore fanbase have bought the single.

 

Harry Styles, JLS, Myleene Klass, Georgina from TOWIE, Pixie Lott and Alex Burke have been busy tweeting about and promoting 30 Days! :P Nice to see support. :)

I hope it can maintain a top 5 position but I think #6 or #7 is more likely. I hope it doesn't go any lower though. :(

In all seriousness, maybe management pulling some strings. Or the girls asking them, since they're friends with the 'celebs'/artists tweeting about them. Or just from the goodness of their supportive hearts! Lol.

 

Going from Twitter, seems like the signing went well - they said it was a big turnout (well of course they'd say that haha). Just wish they were doing some more signings in other areas/cities tomorrow and Thursday etc to get some more sales in.

Lee... Shadow? how did the singing go!

Hi guys.

 

Signing went well. I arrived at 3:30pm and there was a huge line outside the shop, up the street, round the corner and then down the street again. After we arrived, another line formed across at the crossroads but I didn't see how far it stretched. We waited until 5pm before finally moving forward a few steps, but we didn't actually get into HMV itself until 6pm. We went upstairs and saw the girls sitting in front of one of those huge poster boards. I was amazed at how beautiful and natural they looked in the flesh. They just looked so NORMAL. :o Sitting there casually on the seats. :lol: Anyways after 5 more minutes of waiting we finally walked up to meet them. We were told not to ask for pictures as there wasn't time, and we had to prepare our CD's immediately for them to sign. There was a few people in front of me so I hovered my phone camera above their heads to get a picture of the girls but as I clicked the button, Mollie turned to me (she was sitting at the edge) and said "hey how are you? :)" and I kinda freaked out, haha. I just blurted out "I LOVE YOU" and she laughed and said "aww" and I again said "NAW, BUT I ACTUALLY DO LOVE YOU" and she just laughed again. Vanessa was next and said "hi, y'allright?" and I told her I loved her and she laughed, then Una was next but she was kinda distracted speaking to Mollie about the tour ("oh this brings back memories....*something about Faster and Get Ready Get Set and the tour*) but I kinda pointed at my heart and mouthed "I love you" to her and she just laughed and I think she said "I love you too" but that might just be wishful thinking. :lol: Frankie was next and she was a bit scary. She didn't actually say "hi" first (the other girls did) so when I looked at her, she was already staring at me with a big smile and when I told her I loved her she just continued to stare with the same smile, then passed the CD down to Rochelle. Rochelle looked up at me and I told her I loved her and she smiled and said "aww" then I walked away.

 

I have NO IDEA why I was acting so weird. I kinda had a panic attack and my mind went blank. :lol: I should have asked questions or said something interesting but I couldn't, haha. I think Frankie thought I was a weirdo. My friend came after me and said after I left Rochelle said "aww, he was cute" (about me) and my friend said "yeah he's been waiting all day" but I don't know if he said that just to make me feel better or not.

 

Anyways there was a really good turnout. Apparently some girls were there since 10am in the morning (:o). It was freezing cold and the people in the line were getting alot of hassle from drunks and tramps but aside from that it wasn't too bad. We also saw Mark the tour manager walking down the line with his video camera so I wonder if i'll be on the flip, haha. He was also standing with the girls when they were meeting people. They are seriously STUNNING in real life. Vanessa and Mollie in particular.

The GIRLS WERE AMAZING! Actually the best ever, BEYOND KIND and VERY FRIENDLY. I was like a little girl. It was like Christimas all over again.

and dont worry i did the whole i f***ing love you thing at the headlines signing in manchester! i couldn't think of anything more constructive to say! rochelle asked me what my fave song was on the album (even though i was only then buying it, although id had it on my laptop for a while) and i said higher, and that i can't wait for the video (even though missing you had just been released and i don't even think i knew higher would be the next single, or anything about a video!).

 

im still gobsmacked they made it as high as #2 in the midweeks! must have been a LOT of physicals and pre-orders of the EP. still fairly confident they will chart top five, but if not i wont die because there was a time when everybody was panicking about it failing to make the top ten, at least we know it will now!

Another picture I took before I met the girls. :lol: Some people on Facebook are saying they went round the line twice to meet them and they spoke to the girls for minutes (I had like 20 seconds at the table). Apparently the girls had a flight at 7:55pm so couldn't stick around although some fans followed them to the airport. Frankie also pictured a picture from the back of the tour bus/van/car of all the fans on Facebook.

I wanted to ask them so much, but was totally starstruck.

 

Anyway back to reality, if they think they have any chance of remaining top 5 come Sunday they need to discount the song now. I can see them dropping to #04 or #05 in tomorrow's midweeks, although I would say they sold around 300-500 physicals today at least (Agree Shadow?) Hmv had to stock up a decent amount of times on the Physicals. Was amazing to see, I'm sure people who weren't even fans of The Saturdays just bought it for the sake of it.

 

Their decreasing the most on Kworb and after being 15% ahead of Train

 

06. Rihanna - Where Have you Been 63.7%

07. The Saturdays - 30 Days 56.2%

08. Train - Drive By 53.7%

Unless they reduce the price to 79p again I can see them dropping to around #09 tomorrow, I doubt the promotion will save them at the end of the week as Daybreak has less than 1million viewers and Lemonaid last week had 1.5m viewers. Bright Lights climbed from #420 to #330 :lol:

Aw, reading that really made my day; I'm honestly really glad you both got to see the girls :) Brings back memories when I met Frankie at X Factor in 2010. I literally had to beg and give the puppy dog look to get a photo and she eventually gave in :wub: I told her I love her and The Saturdays and she said 'aww thank you' in a really awkward way. Haha :D Don't blame her though. Now if I only I could meet Mollie :heart:

Frankie was my favourite out of all the girls to meet too. :wub: Had some great experiences meeting them in 2008/2009, they're lovely girls, but I haven't really made an effort to try and meet them since then. :(

Last time I checked iTunes, Rihanna had bumped up to #5, Tulisa's down to #6 on iTunes. Sats still at #7.

 

Thinking they'll be #5 or #6 today in the mids. Not sure where they'll officially end up charting come Sunday, maybe #7 or #8. They can't bolster their sales now with physicals and EP sales, which is why they were up there at #2 yesterday.
