11th June

xx - Amy McDonald - Slow It Down (Not expecting this to do anything)

15 - Emeli Sandé - My Kind of Love (deserves top 10, it will probably peak top 15 and hang around for ages)

18th June

02 - Flo Rida - Whistle (I have a feeling Cheryl will hold this off #1, great song )

09 - Stooshe - Black Heart

Other releases

17 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump (The Voice will probably help him a lot)

16 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake (Another chart run similar to The One That Got Away)

37 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control

05 - Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm (Will be another big hit for her!)

63 - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers (I think this will seriously struggle)

07 - Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes (he seems to becoming less relevant, better than Hangover)

01 - Will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love (This screams HIT to me!)

28th May

01 - Maroon 5 (ft. Wiz Khalifa) - Payphone

08 - Stooshe - Black Heart

Other releases

05 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

10 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump This is assuming he is on The Voice final

08 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake

09 - Lana Del Rey - National Anthem Wishful thinking but it's comfortably the best thing here, another top 10 would be richly deserved

56 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control

26 - Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm

68 - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers

16 - Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes

04 - Will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love

Not sure if the Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band track is chart eligible now, its got 7 tracks on it. I guess we find out next week.

DJ Fresh another #1 unlikely.

Plus I'm not sure if the winner of the Voice is releasing a single, if there is that could be a contender.

I can see Cheryl going to #1 maybe for a couple of weeks, for some reason I'm thinking Maroon 5 are going to miss, its not MLJ

28th May

04 - Alexandra Burke - Let It Go Hopefully with Burke's fanbase this can outpeak Lawson

01 - Gary Barlow & the Commonwealth Band - Sing Shame, but I can tell it's gonna happen. If it isn't eligible then fun. will be #1

05 - Lawson - When She Was Mine It's getting a lot of airplay on Capital, I can see it doing a Sparks and falling down quickly

08 - Kylie Minogue - Time Bomb Radio were really behind All The Lovers, so I can see them supporting this too

04 - Rihanna - Where Have You Been

08 - Rudimental (ft. John Newman) - Feel the Love

28 - Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso (ft. Ryan Tedder) - Calling (Lose My Mind)

17 - Wretch 32 (ft. Ed Sheeran) - Hush Little Baby Obviously not peaking on release week, but with a 59p reduction it will make the top 20

4th June

07 - Aiden Grimshaw - Is This Love?

27 - Chris Kamara (ft. Joe Public Utd) - Sing 4 England

09 - Coldplay (ft. Rihanna) - Princess of China

01 - DJ Fresh (ft. Dizzee Rascal) - The Power

35 - Dot Rotten - Overload

55 - Gotye - Eyes Wide Open

14 - Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side

12 - Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)

18 - Professor Green (ft. Ruth Anne) - Remedy

02 - Usher - Scream It's much more generic for Usher so I can see it entering higher and being relatively big

11th June

+75 - Amy McDonald - Slow It Down

01 - Cheryl - Call My Name

18 - Emeli Sandé - My Kind of Love

23 - Jay-Z & Kanye West (ft. Frank Ocean) - No Church In the Wild

18th June

01 - Flo Rida - Whistle

02 - Maroon 5 (ft. Wiz Khalifa) - Payphone

07 - Stooshe - Black Heart Not heard this yet, but I can't see interest in this group for much longer

Other releases

05 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

14 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump

07 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake

36 - Lana Del Rey - National Anthem

34 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control

08 - Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm

63 - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers

32 - Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes Hangover was a massive flop so I can't see this doing much for him

03 - Will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love Long running top 3 hit, I can see it have much more staying power than THE, being on The Voice and running with a torch is big promo for him so this can't flop

28th May

10 - Alexandra Burke - Let It Go

- I expect this'll be entirely a 'fanbase hit', there's no way it'll have a decent chart run wherever it peaks and I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even outpeak 'The Silence' especially as there's a ton of competition for the top 10 next week (some of the below plus Euphoria). I do think it might scrape top 10 though.

02 - Gary Barlow & The Commonwealth Band feat. Military Wives - Sing

- Quite controversial maybe but Gary Barlow stuff ALWAYS underperforms and the Royal Wedding did bugger all for the charts.

09 - Lawson - When She Was Mine

- Heard this a lot on Capital so I think it will do a 'Lick Ya Down'.

17 - Kylie Minogue - Timebomb

- Friday release and all the competition next week will mean this misses out on a top 10 place.

02 - Rihanna - Where Have You Been

- It's been a while since Rihanna had a #2 but I get a sort of #2 FEELING from this one. Probably not for another few weeks yet.

01 - Rudimental feat. John Newman - Feel The Love

- Songs do not just do this well on pre-orders and then peak low top 10 or even lower as so many people are predicting, except apparently more 'adult' (wrong word) artists like Rumer and Lana Del Rey.

27 - Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso feat. Ryan Tedder - Calling (Lose My Mind)

- Maybe similar success to Afrojack etc. 'No Beef'.

19 - Wretch 32 feat. Ed Sheeran - Hush Little Baby

- Didn't realise the 'proper' release of this was so soon, maybe it won't go top 20 but I'm still gonna say it will, just.

4th June

08 - Aiden Grimshaw - Is This Love?

- I have no idea how this random X Factor flopstar is looking at an actually pretty big hit after a few years of nothing but it looks like it's happening. The song isn't as awful as I expected it to be but still not a fan.

23 - Chris Kamara feat. Joe Public Utd. - Sing 4 England

- England anthem or not, I don't see this doing much.

06 - Coldplay and Rihanna - Princess Of China

- Should be a welcome return to the top 10 for Coldplay, I suppose looking back 'Charlie Brown' maybe wasn't such an awful choice after all as it still did reasonably well - an Invincible/Wonderman situation.

02 - DJ Fresh feat. Dizzee Rascal - The Power

- I REALLY want this to be a #1 but it's not doing anywhere near as well as DJ Fresh's last two on pre-orders so I can't see it happening now :(

28 - Dot Rotten feat. TMS - Overload

- Much better song than 'Are You Not Entertained?' and should have been his first single. This won't be massive but Dot Rotten very much has the potential.

66 - Gotye - Eyes Wide Open

- 'Out' so soon and it hasn't even been playlisted on Radio 1 yet? This really is going to bomb :drama: :(

18 - Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side

- But a long running #18 a la 'The One That Got Away'.

06 - Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger The Better)

- I suspect this will be far bigger here than anywhere else in the world. Deserves to be huge everywhere but it'll just have mild success here and bomb everywhere else.

10 - Professor Green feat. Ruth Anne - Remedy

- The 59p boost will only last so long, I think this will slip into the top 10 though.

03 - Usher - Scream

- Sadly will do a lot better than 'Climax'. This just sounds like a poor attempt to recreate the RedOne Jimmy Joker remix of 'More'.

11th June

xx - Amy Macdonald - Slow It Down

- Her last lead single did nothing and this will do even less.

01 - Cheryl Cole - Call My Name

- No way this is missing #1, I think it'll outsell 'Promise This' as well. Just a question of if she'll get a third #1 album, going up against Bieber.

04 - Emeli Sandé - My Kind Of Love

- It'll find its way up there at some point.

21 - Jay-Z and Kanye West feat. Frank Ocean - No Church In The Wild

- Don't want to be too optimistic about this, it's off to a great start but it could stall once the hype around their tour dies down.

18th June

02 - Flo Rida - Whistle

- Sadly denied by the song below.

01 - Maroon 5 feat. Wiz Khalifa - Payphone

- Sadly beating the song above. For once I'm actually HOPING the Wiz Khalifa curse continues here but I can't see past this being a #1 :(

19 - Stooshe - Black Heart

- Not as disastrous as 'Perfume' but I don't think this'll do much.

Other releases

04 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

- Similar success to 'It Girl' maybe.

15 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump

- A performance on The Voice should help this grab at least a week in the top 20 if it's not up there by then anyway.

05 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake

- If only The One That Got Away had gone top 10 she'd have an insane top 10 run.

54 - Lana Del Rey - National Anthem

- Blue Jeans only got to #32 even after a performance on The Voice - she'll be a two-hit wonder.

71 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control

- This era will completely bomb now.

03 - Nicki Minaj - Pound The Alarm

- I think it'd be better if she gives RBMS a proper push now though, this is too similar to 'Starships'.

xx - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers

- Traveller's Chant did nothing, this will do even less.

37 - Taio Cruz feat. Pitbull - There She Goes

- I think Taio's career is pretty much over now.

03 - will.i.am feat. Eva Simons - This Is Love

- Same peak as T.H.E (The Hardest Ever) but sticking around longer and selling more.

28th May

08 - Alexandra Burke - Let It Go (this will basically be Elephant with a lower peak)

01 - Gary Barlow & the Commonwealth Band - Sing (I'm gonna make a wild guess here, but it doesn't seem like it could chart anywhere else atm)

?? - Lawson - When She Was Mine (don't know this so no idea)

15 - Kylie Minogue - Time Bomb (this will be very front-loaded, I can see it dropping off quite fast after its initial boost)

03 - Rihanna - Where Have You Been (this'll basically be the S&M of this era)

03 - Rudimental (ft. John Newman) - Feel the Love (pre-orders aren't everything and don't always equal number 1, I can definitely see this doing well though)

25 - Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso (ft. Ryan Tedder) - Calling (Lose My Mind)

32 - Wretch 32 (ft. Ed Sheeran) - Hush Little Baby

4th June

08 - Aiden Grimshaw - Is This Love? (I think its distinctive enough to sell well at least initially)

10 - Chris Kamara (ft. Joe Public Utd) - Sing 4 England (this will get a surge when we do well initially, and then come crashing out as we will inevitably :P )

07 - Coldplay (ft. Rihanna) - Princess of China (its growing on me SLIGHTLY, but not much :( )

01 - DJ Fresh (ft. Dizzee Rascal) - The Power (there doesn't seem to be much hype around this, I think this'll be a non number 1 - I hope it doesn't get to number 1 as its easily his worst yet)

43 - Dot Rotten - Overload

54 - Gotye - Eyes Wide Open (one hit wonder, nuff said)

22 - Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side (Stronger

09 - Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) (with Radio 1 support, this could actually manage to be a decent hit)

12 - Professor Green (ft. Ruth Anne) - Remedy (a long running top 20 hit I think, but that would still be a decent success for him)

04 - Usher - Scream (around about the same as Climax I think, maybe selling slightly more as it sounds a lot more like him)

11th June

FLOP - Amy McDonald - Slow It Down

01 - Cheryl - Call My Name (Yeah, we really needed her back, this is very average, but I can't see anything else stopping her :( )

14 - Emeli Sandé - My Kind of Love (long running top 20 hit)

16 - Jay-Z & Kanye West (ft. Frank Ocean) - No Church In the Wild (as above)

18th June

01 - Flo Rida - Whistle (I actually think this will lose initially to Maroon 5, but will constantly sell and get there eventually, he just always seems to do this! )

02 - Maroon 5 (ft. Wiz Khalifa) - Payphone (if they release it early as the fake is starting to take over)

15 - Stooshe - Black Heart

Other releases

06 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up (well a follow up to a number 1 has to do something...)

16 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump (his album's sold too much for him to get another top 10 hit)

05 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake (I think this will have a longer run than Part of Me though)

36 - Lana Del Rey - National Anthem (if Blue Jeans couldn't do anything, then I can't see this doing much either)

54 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control (I can't see her getting another hit from this era)

04 - Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm (sounds like this will be huge

FLOP - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers (they're pretty much over for now)

?? - Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes (depends, his last two hits haven't exactly blown up [/badpun]

04 - Will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love (should be another hit for him)

04 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up

00 - Flo Rida - Whistle

These two are really great new releases

28th May

05 - Alexandra Burke - Let It Go

02 - Gary Barlow & the Commonwealth Band - Sing (Bad song, but will do well cause' it's Jubliee week following that)

06 - Lawson - When She Was Mine

01 - Kylie Minogue - Time Bomb (Will get more attention than Barlow)

03 - Rihanna - Where Have You Been (Sales increase!)

11 - Rudimental (ft. John Newman) - Feel the Love (Will be beaten by Tulisa still doing well in iTunes Top 10)

25 - Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso (ft. Ryan Tedder) - Calling (Lose My Mind)

31 - Wretch 32 (ft. Ed Sheeran) - Hush Little Baby

4th June

10 - Aiden Grimshaw - Is This Love? (Got more attention than Marcus)

DNC - Chris Kamara (ft. Joe Public Utd) - Sing 4 England (Not recieving any attention at the moment)

08 - Coldplay (ft. Rihanna) - Princess of China (Not good, but will do the double for Rihanna)

01 - DJ Fresh (ft. Dizzee Rascal) - The Power (Got "Hit" all over it")

DNC - Dot Rotten - Overload (Never heard of it)

DNC - Gotye - Eyes Wide Open (

20 - Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side

03 - Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) (Already well recieved)

11 - Professor Green (ft. Ruth Anne) - Remedy (Just miss out)

04 - Usher - Scream (Better than Climax)

11th June

DNC - Amy McDonald - Slow It Down

02 - Cheryl - Call My Name (Will miss out due to long period of time between video/radio release and the song actually coming out)

11 - Emeli Sandé - My Kind of Love (Lack of popularity will make it miss out)

12 - Jay-Z & Kanye West (ft. Frank Ocean) - No Church In the Wild (Same as above)

18th June

03 - Flo Rida - Whistle (Not as big as previous 2 hits)

02 - Maroon 5 (ft. Wiz Khalifa) - Payphone (Will do the same as Moves Like Jagger)

04 - Stooshe - Black Heart (Another good track from the girls)

Other releases

11 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up (Will do well as a follow up, but not as well because of lack of popularity)

20 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump (Drunk did badly, so will this)

10 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake (With this being her last release before her vactation, it will be good enough to peak Top 10)

40 - Lana Del Rey - National Anthem (Blue Jeans peaked badly after Voice, so this will flop too)

61 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control (Everybody would have prefered Homewrecker as second release!)

05 - Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm (She is producing hit after hit, so this will do well too)

DNC - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers (Traveller's Chant flopped, so will this)

DNC - Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes (No attention at all)

05 - Will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love (Big hit)

Unfortunatley, most of these records will be beaten by forthcoming records from Little Mix and possibly, Tulisa

It's interesting reading all these predictions having only heard Lana's and Marina songs.
I would've thought that would make reading the predictions rather a bore. :D

28th May

05 - Alexandra Burke - Let It Go // not had as much promotion as 'elephant' got, and while this had an overall better reaction, won't perform as well I don't think.

01 - Gary Barlow & the Commonwealth Band - Sing // british people. there's a lot of them.

09 - Lawson - When She Was Mine // capital love this song, but I don't hear this song much out of there, this could be their 'lick ya down'.

04 - Kylie Minogue - Time Bomb // seems to be climbing up on itunes pretty fast, although it may peak lower if some of next week's entries knock it down.

03 - Rihanna - Where Have You Been // single version will give it a boost.

07 - Rudimental (ft. John Newman) - Feel the Love // won't do as well as people think.

32 - Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso (ft. Ryan Tedder) - Calling (Lose My Mind) // not heard of this, but people seem to think this will enter out of nowhere. ryan tedder is somewhat of a name I guess.

21 - Wretch 32 (ft. Ed Sheeran) - Hush Little Baby // not heard it an awful lot but it seems to be climbing up gradually on itunes.

4th June

03 - Aiden Grimshaw - Is This Love? // has had a surprising amount of support and hype, I think it'll do a 'can't say no' - peak high, fall quickly.

08 - Chris Kamara (ft. Joe Public Utd) - Sing 4 England // it'll be frontloaded, but enough morons in the country will be able to give this a top 10 placing.

07 - Coldplay (ft. Rihanna) - Princess of China // I reckon with a bit more promo this could get into the top 10, not going to lie I thought it'd do a lot better initially, like at least top 10 by now.

01 - DJ Fresh (ft. Dizzee Rascal) - The Power // dj fresh is on a roll, dizzee rascal scores number 1s with ease, and this has had an awful lot of airplay. this won't miss it.

18 - Dot Rotten - Overload // heard it quite a few times on capital, and the sample of 'children' should make people remember it.

40-75 - Gotye - Eyes Wide Open // he's a one hit wonder.

13 - Kelly Clarkson - Dark Side // this should be at least a minor hit for her, but won't be as big as the first two singles of the era.

03 - Nelly Furtado - Big Hoops (Bigger the Better) // would love it to be number 1, but I can't see it getting there.

14 - Professor Green (ft. Ruth Anne) - Remedy // will peak soon, the 59p effect will ware off.

10 - Usher - Scream // haven't heard this yet, but I can't see it being as big as 'climax'.

11th June

76+ - Amy McDonald - Slow It Down // she doesn't seem like the sort of person that would set the charts alight. I do like her though.

01 - Cheryl - Call My Name // easily.

09 - Emeli Sandé - My Kind of Love // I think it'll get there eventually, has it been reduced to 59p on itunes yet?

27 - Jay-Z & Kanye West (ft. Frank Ocean) - No Church In the Wild // this is decent, much much MUCH better than their other singles, but I can't see it being the hit that 'niggas in paris' was.

18th June

03 - Flo Rida - Whistle // may get to number 2 though, just can't see it beating maroon 5 who have a lot more hype around them right now.

01 - Maroon 5 (ft. Wiz Khalifa) - Payphone // pretty sure it'll get there.

13 - Stooshe - Black Heart // disappointing, doesn't have the same hook that 'love me' had. despite the support, it will not be as big.

Other releases

02 - Chris Brown - Don't Wake Me Up // not heard this yet, but my assumption would be that it'll hit the top spot on itunes on sunday and then fall off on wednesday or something, making it lose out.

12 - Ed Sheeran - Small Bump // his current era is coming to an end I feel.

09 - Katy Perry - Wide Awake // I get the feeling that most people want a break from her, but this should still get enough support to go top 10 and perhaps stick around for a bit.

38 - Lana Del Rey - National Anthem // people will just continue to buy the album rather than any other singles from her I think.

34 - Marina & The Diamonds - Power & Control // hopefully I'll be right here, I really want this to go top 40 at least! :( doesn't have the same hype around it that 'primadonna' had though. wouldn't it unlucky if this peaked at 41?!

01 - Nicki Minaj - Pound the Alarm // will be massive in the summer. MASSIVE I tell you!

40-75 - Rizzle Kicks - Dreamers // 'travelers chant' flopped, this won't do anything for them either.

07 - Taio Cruz (ft. Pitbull) - There She Goes // I think 'hangover' flopped because the release was handled poorly, plus this is released in the summer period. people love the typical club banger in the summer.

04 - Will.i.am (ft. Eva Simons) - This Is Love // it's will.i.am, so I can't see it missing the top 10 at all. yet I can't see it going to number 1 either.
