I still have no idea how this managed to beat the likes of What About My Dreams, Popular etc.

It's MoR-tastic *.*

woo, here we go :D time for my one and only annual visit to the Eurovision forum! looking forward to Loreen, Jedward & The party grannies, and Engelbert as well I guess

Popular being like my Euphoria, but to a lesser extent (it wasn't even my song of 2011, more like.. #4), I agree. Although, better Running Scared than that Italian mess.

This is my first time hearing the UK song in full. It's a really nice song! But no winner.
01 // United Kingdom - That was really good, an interesting ballad I think - and he seems to quite effortlessly sing it (not entirely sure if he got that last note perfect, but he still did a really good job). I loved the staging, and think we can be proud of that entry personally. 8.5/10
He performed it well tbh, but I stand by my opinion that to be honest the song is still deadly boring, I don't care about the patriotism :P

United Kingdom - 7.5

Good vocals, nice dancers, overall good performance

Have to say that I think that the hump nailed that one! Better performance on the night than I've seen from him before!
He performed well and i do like it but i dont know how it will go down in Euriope, in a way the song seems very out of place but sometimes that can be an advantage in Eurovision.
Englebert did a very good performance of 'Love Will Set You Free'. Good stage setting too but whether it'll have a lasting impression until voting is left to be seen.

Thank god Engelbert didn't mess that one up and it's out of the way early! Hopefully we should do alright then :D

8/10 United Kingdom

United Kingdom - 6/10 well, that was fairly boring and that song remains incredibly dated :( still he certainly performed it well

I definitely get the Savage Garden comparisons with Hungary, he has a very Darren Hayes tone to his voice.
