May 26, 201213 yr Russian Article (SHOCK!!!) about Alexander Rybak (Eurovision 2009) Movie as life. Song from USSR movie for Eurovision. napecks.livejournal.com English Google translation: translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&u=http://napecks.livejournal.com/&ei=CZZ0Tsf0C8-UOoO-oaIM&sa=X&oi=translate&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CB0Q7gEwAA&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://napecks.livejournal.com/%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1280%26bih%3D872%26prmd%3Dimvns Edited May 26, 201213 yr by napecks
May 26, 201213 yr Author I still have no idea how this managed to beat the likes of What About My Dreams, Popular etc. It's MoR-tastic *.*
May 26, 201213 yr woo, here we go :D time for my one and only annual visit to the Eurovision forum! looking forward to Loreen, Jedward & The party grannies, and Engelbert as well I guess
May 26, 201213 yr I still have no idea how this managed to beat the likes of What About My Dreams, Popular etc. Popular being like my Euphoria, but to a lesser extent (it wasn't even my song of 2011, more like.. #4), I agree. Although, better Running Scared than that Italian mess.
May 26, 201213 yr This is my first time hearing the UK song in full. It's a really nice song! But no winner.
May 26, 201213 yr 01 // United Kingdom - That was really good, an interesting ballad I think - and he seems to quite effortlessly sing it (not entirely sure if he got that last note perfect, but he still did a really good job). I loved the staging, and think we can be proud of that entry personally. 8.5/10
May 26, 201213 yr He performed it well tbh, but I stand by my opinion that to be honest the song is still deadly boring, I don't care about the patriotism :P
May 26, 201213 yr Have to say that I think that the hump nailed that one! Better performance on the night than I've seen from him before!
May 26, 201213 yr He performed well and i do like it but i dont know how it will go down in Euriope, in a way the song seems very out of place but sometimes that can be an advantage in Eurovision.
May 26, 201213 yr Englebert did a very good performance of 'Love Will Set You Free'. Good stage setting too but whether it'll have a lasting impression until voting is left to be seen.
May 26, 201213 yr Thank god Engelbert didn't mess that one up and it's out of the way early! Hopefully we should do alright then :D 8/10 United Kingdom
May 26, 201213 yr United Kingdom - 6/10 well, that was fairly boring and that song remains incredibly dated :( still he certainly performed it well Edited May 26, 201213 yr by C.W
May 26, 201213 yr I definitely get the Savage Garden comparisons with Hungary, he has a very Darren Hayes tone to his voice.
