No the video chart isn't included as sales in the official chart I don't believe.

That's right, it's so that people buy the single for the actual song.

Loreen is actually DOMINATING in Sweden, she's basically done the equivalent there of selling a million over in about 6 weeks, absolutely incredible!

I nearly had a heart attack when I saw on the front page when I saw Loreen was #2 :w00t: Unlikely that she'll get to #1 but I would probably die of a loongasm if she did!

alex is the only artist i support. :( Its so horrible to see her flop! I blame all on capital because they are crap and pathetic (i mean comon they banned 1D for a mistake) :(

1D are a mistake :puke: Banning them was the best thing Capital have ever done.

I really hope she makes #1 by 6pm, I just want to hear her announced as #1 on Big Top 40

I won't be listening to the Big Top 40, but I'd love her to be #1 on that chart as it would be great promo for her.

I actually think Radio 1 will playlist Euphoria, it'd be slightly ridiculous even by their standards if they didn't.

I have a feeling R1 will playlist it. I imagine Scott Mills will be all over the song next week and Euphoria doesn't sound out of place with everything else in the chart, unlike last years winners.

If Euphoria makes the top 5 next week, surely this would be the first Eurovision entry to do so since Schooch in 2007 :o

Loreen just 5% behind - she's going to do it! And very soon too :cheer:
The weird thing is that Sweden's "official" (streaming) singles chart doesn't include sales from iTunes now.

Very surprised to see that Loreen song so high! I remember all the talk about her on here, but never thought it would do this well. I don't watch Eurovision, but I have listened a few times to the song now and while it's pretty decent it doesn't deserve to do this well (in my opinion ofcourse).

Go Lawson though! Great to see them in the top 10 already. Hope Alexandra can climb some more as well. I was not expecting it to be a big hit, but it's really underperforming now!

Ivi at #55, it would be awesome if she charted officially in the top 40 next week coupled with Loreen at #1.

Yep it would be, and the first non UK entry to make the top five in god knows how long. Johnny Logan in 1987?

I guess we know what the year-end #1 in Sweden will be then.

How close to number one Is euphoria now?

1 Fun. - We Are Young (feat. Janelle Monáe) 1.0000

2 Loreen - Euphoria (Single Version) 0.9500

I would say Loreen is about 2% from #1 now as the latest update was nearly an hour ago! :cheer:
If Loreen get to #1 today on I Tunes, Today is going to end a great day :cheer:

I agree, it's probably me being biased, but I can totally see it bucking the trend. Like you said, it's unique among Eurovision in that it's actually current - if Alexandra Burke or Leona Lewis released it it would be a worldwide number 1.

I AM READY. It's been 4 months in the making and already it's doing so much better than I expected - well deserved though

I don't think iTunes counts for much over there anyway (possibly because of this rule), Spotify is for Sweden what iTunes is for UK/US/Australia, it has a majority share. Needless to say Loreen dominates Spotify as well :P

I just think that it sounds like the sort of big vocal dance song Alex or Leona should do, but you're right as well. Basically Euphoria is amazing and should be the worldwide year end #1 :kink:

Alexandra has barely moved and is just now at #37 - could it possibly miss the top 40 by the end of the week? :o
