It's a bad start for Alex and Gary, 9 hours into their bid for chart sucess, and they are not on the iTunes Top 100, benefiting Loreen, Kylie, and Tulisa!

Alex is on course for a mega flop isn't she? Right now I'm thinking top 20 might be a struggle for the single.

 

Gary's track is not chart eligible for the singles chart, its going to end up between fun., Kylie, Rudimental and Loreen I think, Kylie's track will probably take off after her Voice performance.

Not sure, but I kind of have an idea why. The E.P. has 7 tracks on it, which means if you purchase the EP it can't count towards the single chart. But if you just buy the individual track then what will it count towards if it's chart ineligible? :huh:

I would imagine that sales of an individual track would count towards the singles chart, the EP/physical will either be moved to the album chart if its eligible or just not have its sales counted. There's no way, if 50,000 people download the lead/promoted track, that it won't chart.

Oh wow :o Rybak got stuck behind the double juggernaut of Bonkers/Boom Boom Pow iirc, and I wouldn't call any of the current contenders as strong as those, Euphoria could even get as high as #2 for a while!
