They will HAVE to play it on Capital later right with the Vodaphone itunes thingy right? maybe that will give it a boost!

Ooh I'd forgotten about that. I might actually listen to that joke of a chart tonight.

Oh it'd be amazing if she makes #1 on iTunes in time, just to have her announced as the UK's number 1 even if she doesn't do it officially next week

Yeah. I haven't listened to the show in a while, and they change their rules very often, so things could've changed by now, but they play the live iTunes top 10 (as of 6pm) before 7pm. So Euphoria is going to get played between 6:50 and 7:00 on like 150 radio stations at the same time (including all the Heart FM and Capital FM stations).

You may be right.

And Satellite didn't even get on there until Monday or Tuesday which really cost Lena.

That does ring a bell. And then Satellite wasn't available in the UK til.. Monday I think?

C'mon Rudimental, you're ahead of one bland-fest, let's overtake another!

Loreen for #1! She is incredible, and the song is great, doesnt sound eurovision at all :o A summer/club vibe kind of song but still unique, get that #1 on iTunes!

I don't mean to be shady at all when I say this, but it's the comeback single Leona Lewis should have come back with if she were to go the dance / pop route. :P

Euphoria is #1 in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Spain, Greece, Ireland

Fantastic, and it's already 5x platinum in Sweden and a former #1 in Finland

I guess Sweden are immensely proud. They've proved that they can win Eurovision without ABBA or a clone, as per all of their other winners.

SURELY radio cannot ignore it? I can just about understand them snubbing Fairytale, it wasn't a very 'UK radio' sort of song, but come on - Euphoria is everything that they're already playing but 100 times better.

Fairytale was (albeit briefly) playlisted on Radio One.

Looks like Loreen will be the only Eurovision entry in the top 40 next week. Shame really, I keep hoping that one year a lot of entries will make enough of an impression.
Loreen will fall hard later in the week... but top 10 is secured for her and well deserved.

"Calling" is also with Ryaen Tedder right?

I'm amazed at how badly Zaleilah has done, not even top 300, I really thought it would become a big summer hit across Europe but it didn't translate as well live as I'd hoped and I guess Euphoria is the only dance record anyone really needs from this year's contest!
